    Shine of CZ, MOISSANITE or diamond depends upon the cut. The real difference will be seen over years when CZ should shine less bright than others

    The CZ seems to give off more shine but the moissanite bracelet looks like it was made with a bit more quality? I can't tell man, they both look good to me bro! 🤷

      Preciate ya fam. My cz one has been worn for 3 some years so it’s a little dull compared to the moissanite one

    Moissanite; looks better, will last a lot longer, its harder then Cubic Zirconium on the Mohs hardness scale(won’t; scratch, chip or fracture as easily) & passes some Damond Testers as Diamond…

    The cz seem to be bigger and a little more raised then mossanite. I personally will choose mossanite because it likely shines just like cz but are tougher or will scratch less with everyday wear.

    • @mattstar5608
      @mattstar5608  2 роки тому +2

      The cz are indeed a little bigger, and you right moissanite is naturally harder then cz so it won’t scratch as easy

  • @BeastmodeBeats

    the cz stone was a bit larger than the moissanite stone, so the cz hit harder, however if moissanite was a larger cut it would look way better than the cz stones.

    The mounting and setting for the cz looks so fake. The stones looks like poorly cut czs or rhinestones. The moissanite looks realistic. How much is it?

    • @mattstar5608
      @mattstar5608  2 роки тому +3

      The cz and moissanite have the same setting actually. The moissanite bracelet is 400$ give or take.

  • @333maddoxtj333

    It's not even debatable, real moissanite shines way more than CZ because it has a double refraction, its more colorful and it will last longer, in this case the CZ shines more because the stones are bigger, the bigger the stone the bigger the shine...

    • @mattstar5608
      @mattstar5608  2 роки тому +3

      Yes but no, you failed to take into account the quality of the stone and other contributing factors such as color and cut. These moissanite are most likely lower grade with a poor stone cut.

      @@mattstar5608 - I've read the comments talking about the badly cut stones but I still think the CZs are way bigger and that's why it looks like it's shining more. Moissanite and CZs have totally different chemical compositions and they refract light differently, no CZ will ever shine with the same fire (the colors you can see in the stone) as a moissanite, a bad cut might influence brilliance but a CZ still won't shine the same way as a moissanite. It's not a matter of how much it shines but how it shines.
      Idk if i explained myself, English isn't my first language

      @@333maddoxtj333 you are correct however it is not seize. If you take a very low quality diamond and compare it to your average CZ the cz will shine better. Everyone knows and expects a diamond to do better. However the clarity and cut are important. No stone will shine without a good cut. Later I will do a comparison video for tennis chains. I have a 3mm cz and moissanite chain.

      @@mattstar5608 - I'd say 90% of moissanites are man made so brilliance and clarity will almost certainly be close to perfect, and yes no stone will shine without a good cut but the cut must be really really bad to spot the difference and nonetheless the moissanite will almost certainly retain its shine over the years, CZs will scratch very easily and lose their original brilliance, plus the double refraction still makes me want to buy moissanites over CZs and even diamonds wich gives a sharper reflection and more white shine

    The shine depends on the stone setting obviously the bigger the stone the more shine the smaller the setting the more light you gotta have to make its shine visual. It's not about the stones just one row or two row.... I'd rather have the one row shines more

    • @mattstar5608
      @mattstar5608  2 роки тому

      You are correct, larger stones allow more light for the stone to shine. However the setting is fairly limited on stone shine unless it’s a special setting like raised prong or hollow back. At the same time these improvements are still very limited.

    HarlemBling’s manufacturer cuts their Moissanite pieces all out of wack, you should definitely be able to tell the difference with CZ’s and ManMade.

      Bro I kid you not I've been thinking the same shit ! I've got 2 pendants from harlem bling and one def hits waaay better then the other. Any what's crazy is my pendant that hits harder has slightly smaller stones! Both are similar pave style settings so they should bother reflect similarly if not the bigger stones should hit harder and thats not the case.
      So what I've come to realize is that the stones in these 2 pendants were most def. cut by 2 different people. One did a amateur lazy ass shit job and the other was on his shit. And in my opinion the cut quality of the stone is most important above all else. You can have a stone with perfect clarity and color but if cut poorly it would shine less then a lower grade color and clarity stone that was cut right. So yuh from experience the way in which the stone is cut is most important...
