Well, Blackrock, Vanguard and Statestreet are gonna get the payback they deserve for making Warner Bros interfere with DC projects over the past 10 years! We will get Pam Abdy and Mike Deluca's pitch for Man of Steel 2 featuring Superman and Supergirl taking on Brainiac in live action along with Ben Affleck's Batman movie and the rest of the Snyderverse over to Netflix and we will make sure that ESG and DEI are not a problem for those over at the streaming service and that the executives have enough money in budgeting and efficient AI technology to get the film into production and make sure they do not intefere or reject Snyder's work like WB has.

The title was inspired by Italian director Enzo G. Castellari's 1978 Euro War film The Inglorious Bastards, though Tarantino's film is not a remake of it. Tarantino wrote the script in 1998, but struggled with the ending and chose instead to direct the two-part film Kill Bill. and kill bill is a remake of Lady Snowblood, some shots are exactly the same, he tends to pick movie American audiences don’t know about, Tarantino is a very good director but most of his movie are very derivative of other movies, reservoir dogs, was inspired by The Thing
Anything with Henry Cavill also peaks my interest. 😜

Yeah this is on my buy a ticket, grab some popcorn and settle in for a watch when it comes out! Love the cast, and it looks like Guy Ritchie was allowed to have a lot of fun while filming this one! Plus yeah Henry Cavill and Alan Ritchson in the same movie so win win! Feels like it is going to be 'Inglorious Basterds' on steroids, so really hope the movie lives up to the trailers!
I generally enjoy Guy Ritchie's films, even his weaker ones.
And Henry is the cherry on top, so to speak.
I miss movies like this, you have the guy from Reacher and Henry Cavil playing a bunch of crazy commandos.

*NEWS FLASH!!* It is based on a book!! Churchill's Secret Warriors by Damien Lewis!! And yes, looks like it will be a blast. I mean, Cary Elwes, Henry Golding, Alex Pettyfer, and yes, even Hero Fiennes from the After movies (thank God he gets to do something else). Bunch of boys getting to shoot guns at Nazis. Oh yeah, I think it will do very well at the box office.

I think that was Cary Elwes in the opening of trailer ❓ Loved Guy Ritchie’s SHERLOCK HOLMES and MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E (should’ve had sequel) so I’m likely sold on this highly fictionilized true story and also being s sucker for spy stuff. Where are the gorgeous ladies though

There was a real British special forces soldier. Who brought a bow snd arrow and carried a Scottish broadsword . ( mad jack Churchill) oh and he would play the bagpipes as well . ( special air service) they have a motto ( he who dares wins ) they did unbelievable things in the desert ( North Africa) loke the British army was out of fuel, so a few dozen of them went and attacked the entire German army at night while another group stole the needed fuel .😂 .

I think this is about hiw the British got thier hands on an enigma machine. ( taken from a German submarine at sea) . They would need to invent computers to break the code . ( several movies about that ) they kept that secret till the 80s. Station x ( blechly park ) mi6 was secret as well back then . Fleming was technically naval intelligence. But mi6 really. ( oh sir Christopher lee was sas ) and a cousin of Fleming and played a bond villain in the 70s .

This film is about Operation Postmaster.
Basically, the supposedly neutral Spanish were allowing the Germans and Italians to use their island of Fernando Po off the coast of West Africa as an observation post for alerting U-boats so they could ambush British convoys. The Admiralty wanted it shut down so the Special Operations Executive sent No.62 Commando under Major Gus March-Phillipps on an unsanctioned mission to hijack the Axis ships moored in Santa Isabel harbour then tow them to Lagos in British Nigeria.
The Spanish government was furious after the successful completion of the mission but the British just told them to shut up as the mission sent out a warning that the British would take military action against neutral countries helping the Axis.
The guy in the trailer with the bow and arrow played by Alan Ritchson is meant to be Anders Lassen, a Dane recruited into the Commandos by March-Phillipps and was known for his utter ruthlessness towards the Germans during numerous commando raids in WW2 until 1945 when he died of his wounds after taking out five German machine gun nests single handed. An action for which he was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross.
Furthermore, Christopher Lee never served in the SAS. He was an RAF intelligence officer who occasionally liaised with the SAS while stationed with 260 Squadron in North Africa. He was never involved in any frontline special forces operations.

It's a bunch of people acting happy while killing people. It's a bit short... morally speaking.
I liked the show Reacher, but the second season where Reacher just kills a guy in the hospital who was posing no imminent threat, was just evil.
I would have to say that there were some kills that really bothered me in Reached S2 though I overall enjoyed it.

This movie is pure fantasy, not based on a true story. They could have made a movie about a real badass à la John Wick who's name was Leo Major, but instead they went for Gus March-Phillipps who died in the first minute of his last failed mission.
It's literally based on a true story. That the main protagonist died eventually in no way negates that

Cavill has the screen presence of a wet dish rag. He's competent, but that's about it. He's not the draw so many want him to be. It looks generic as hell to me.
I absolutely disagree. He has an incredible screen presence....there is a reason why so many people love this guy! He doesnt have to be the best actor in the world for me to like him. If I enjoy an actor in their roles they are doing a good job for me. And he does.
