I understand the kids of today will not see this game as great. But trust me, it was SO great when it was released. And I think many people who experienced it back then will agree.
Never played this one, but interesting to see a number of game mechanics, animations and sounds taken straight from the C64 game 'Dambusters', presumably by the exact same development team.
There was no stortage of WW2 games on the c64 this game was unique i played the magnetic strip off this disk back in late 80's could never finish it im not sure if it was completed i remember putting the train in reverse for ages to get to the switch to take another track line night time was always running out there wasn't much time to mess around i remember 4:00 am in the morning was the deadline. Awesome game none the less. See the Map you show at 9:59 there was no time to make it all the way to the bottom left at Tour let alone mess around on track and switches down there time was always running out kinda sucked it had way more potential this game but great for it's day.
I've seen this game in gaming magazine back then. Never played it and never seen it before, but always wanted to see it. Thanks for the upload...great game
This was a fun little game, enjoyed it thoroughly as a kid, but I always felt the bridge levels were poorly designed. Without being able to see where exactly you're aiming, it felt a little like throwing darts into darkness.
Its so astonishing with what kind of games the developers came up that long ago.
I was addicted to this game back when it first came out. Loved it.

Good God, this Game. My old Breadbox C64 I loved that Game. Thanks for bringing back the Memories and share this Video.

Had forgotten this one...many thanks for unloading!
I loved this game to bits and pieces. A wide variety of game mechanics/gameplay elements and screens. It really was a full and immersive experience.

Great game train control still great even today in 2019
there's a classic film, starring by Burt Lancaster, with the same plot. And much elaborated story, of course. "the train", highly recommended.

This along with Law of the West and Microleague Baseball were my old favorite C-64 games. More “Train” videos please!
This is a really good game!
Figuring out how to start this was hard! Great game, so different back then
Ich war 10Jahre alt, und habe das Spiel gespielt 😀👍
Amazing after all these years that I come across a C64 game that I never played.
This should have been part of a “Medal of Honor” mission. This is right up the alley of 2nd LT. Patterson.
I playd lot of this. I hadnt idea what to do it, but I just played with train.
Think I would've loved this game back in the day.
just great, thx!
After 35 years finally I could see the ending of this game. 😁🙈
You should always be firing. Your guy only runs when both you and the person in the window are shooting.
Potężna gra jak na 1MHz procesor.
The credits at the beginning show that 6 people where involved in the creation of this game.

Wow I always died at the beginning, never new you should shoot the boats at the bridge.
Man this was somebody's bad dream they turned into a video game.

I loved drive with train, I hated that boat episode where I destroyed boats or something? :(
Wow, quite impressive gameplay for the time.
Quite impressive old shooting game!
I just beat the game today on my newest (so to say) breadbin C64, A nice game you can actually master without going insane along the way.
First ever FPS
I feel using a train maybe is not the best way to escape.
Sweet!! All I did as a kid is run the CRAP out of that train
PSI: 0, MPH: 0, TEMP:0 ? (:
The gauges are analogue, 0 just shows where the meter starts
@@karlnygren:)) yes you are right, i was stupid.
@@plinker439 no no, I thought it looked odd first as well 😁
Five year old comment resurrection!
