Thanks Dan! Great review as always. I really liked this issue. Adams is doing a great job weaving his story in with the events going off in Absolute Power. It was fun seeing Hal getting creative without his ring. I really like the building up of Carol. Long overdue. Seeing her hanging with JSA really gets her involved in the larger DCU and makes her relevant. I think Waid's upcoming Justice League run has her on the team. So cool to see Alan Scott used in a unique way. He is teaching a villain how to become good like he mentors the younger generation of heroes in the JSA. This is a great example of how to benefit from a line wide event coming into your title and adding something significant to your own. More Sorrow Lantern! Haha. Take care and peace everyone.
Overall, the Adams GL run has been a fun ride! Life keeps me busy so I’ve had to be okay with picking up on vibes & assuring myself I’d come back for more “later” The droid fan in me is enjoying this Jadestone story so far. I’m especially interested in how other sentient characters interact with him(?) and perhaps their own programming & assumptions. I’d really like to see this character stick around or return after AP wraps up! Carol’s story feels like a great way to re/introduce fans to a character who could really shine if she broke out of her love interest’s shadow 🤞🤞 I’d like to see more of the skills and compromises she employed to keep Ferris Air relevant as its industry shifted to favoring drone fighters. Very excited for her future in the JLA! The Nathan story’s also had my attention ever since Hal locked him in a restroom to get Carol alone. Did Hal ever show growth there or was Barry supposed to absolve him of that, too? I don’t recognize Nathan as easily as Carol or Jadestone but will be interested to see what challenges he faces in his new role as the Sorrow Lantern Thanks for sticking with this, Dan! It’s good to see you catching up after taking well-deserved time off. Who knew monthly books would be so challenging to keep up with?
PS Shynt D’Proba’s observations and inferences felt both contemporary and timeless. So many audiences could learn from this story I’m also (slowly) reading Millenium for the first time so this Guggenheim backup felt pretty special
The highlights are Jonhs' run, which starts way before the New 52, Red Lanterns, and Vendetti's run. Honestly the overwhelming majority of New 52 G.L. is great. Enjoy!
Hal is the Wolverine of resistances XD
I love that Carol will give a chance to be a super hero

Developing Carol is good and kinda unexpected but she needs character development. Hal and the others could always use more character development.
It feels good to finally find a channel dedicated to Green Lantern. I have a question. Are there any New 52 Green Lantern runs you would recommend?
Geoff John’s
New 52 Green Lantern Vol. 1-3.
