I'm currently rewatching the Justice League tv show pre unlimited and noticed Star Sapphire featured in an episode and she used energy blast from her head as did other similar GL abilities with that same forehead beam and I was wondering where exactly in the comics would I find her doing exactly that before Star Sapphire used rings.

It’s kinda a shame you can’t do a comic like this dissecting the idea of the orange corps due to the fact there always will be only one. Could be neat to see an evil take on a blue lantern though, giving people false hope could definitely have some evil notations

While I kind of agree with Barry, Hal absolutely should’ve been brought back and his character assassination undone. Also, I don’t understand this obsession of killing off previous heroes to make room for new ones. This is most common among Kyle, Wally and Miles fans. The heroes can coexist guys.

The old and new don't respect each other enough for new characters to come in and be satisfying. It happens sometimes but eventually all the new characters get forgotten. And ogs get rebooted.

I think that when Hal Jordan entered the Power Battery in Emerald Twilight saga that two Parallax emerged. One was possessed by Parallax one was not. I know you ask me why I think this. But if you look at the evidence. Parallax literally means to have two vantage points on one event. Parallax possessed Hal is visually clearly villainous. Yet if you look at Hal in numerous appearances he does not look like a demon. In fact the Parallax in Zero Hour didn't have white temples. No Parallax. After Parallax was defeated in Rebirth , another Parallax continues to appear (convergence, Tellos as well as recent issues of Green Arrow. They appears to be another Hal Jordan lurking inspite of Parallax defeat.

I completely agree with you that they need to retire all these old characters and i love your idea but you're right. Industry and fans don't want to move on and many say they do but when it does they get pissed.

The lantern core can do so much more with there Potential I don’t mind some cop elements but like you said in the video I want them to lean into more out there concepts for example flying through space and finding a dead planet then to find out it’s one big nesting ground for some weird aliens and the core goes in to save the planet or sometimes down to earth showing the rest of the world that they are the good guys who are superheroes and not the yellow lanterns

green canary was one of the coolest parts of dceacsed along side spectre alfred

You’ve already answered this for some (like Will & Greed) but what would you give as alternative motivations for each of the main 7 corps. Like how Jo is powered by the will to live with fear rather than the will to overcome it. It’s one of my favorite ideas & something I hope they expand on & use with the other corps!

Off topic comment, sorry. I just wanted to say that I've really enjoyed your videos over the past few days, and I didn’t realize a Green Lantern podcast was exactly what I needed! GL is my third favorite DC hero of all time.I’ve basically been out of the loop since the "Blackest Night" saga. I’m primarily interested in Hal Jordan and John Stewart. What would you recommend I read to get back into the Green Lantern story, as well as major arcs that have happened since "Blackest Night"? Things just seem so confusing now

I hate the human centric storylines, i don't know why. I just find it annoying when human beings are bestest at everything in a universe filled with billions of various forms of life. I also hate it when those other alien species are written to be exactly like us and yet someone we are still the special ones. Edit : Damn not even a good bye to the woman...wow
