Air France won't accept the 20" bag because it's too big

It may depend on if Air France allows a cumulative measurement. Their website states the maximum dimensions of hand baggage allowed are: 21.7" x 13.8" x 9.9" (including pockets, wheels, and handles). Cumulatively that amounts to 45.4" total. The 20" Luminous bag comes in at 45.2 cumulative inches. However, the 20" Grace Carry-on does add up to 46.1" which is above their threshold.
