I just picked up a 6 that needs to be finished and have been binge watching your videos. LOL Would love to get some action shots of you actually doing some of the work. Need a tri-pod for your phone! :)
Howdy and thanks for checking out my channel. I actually have a tripod for my camera, (DJI) and have a brand new wireless mic. I work alone and it is difficult to stop mid task to set up the tripod, camera, mic then work/talk/explain, etc. I have limited work time and try to maximize it. However, I will try to incorporate more "live action" time into my videos or make separate "How To" videos on various subjects. Feel free to email me with questions or suggestions.
@@KaretakerAero I totally feel you. Doing anything while making a UA-cam video makes that simple task so much more complicated. I appreciate your videos, regardless.
Custom made and fit; there are no drawings/instructions for these. Vans provides instructions and drawings to make stiffeners out of wood, bonded and taped to the gear leg. The aluminum stiffeners are not my idea, I have borrowed different ideas from people and made my own.

Did you have a print that you used for the stiffener or was it trial by error?

Could a person just use Adel clamps for the stiffeners.
Yes. But Adel clamps clamp off to one side; off center of the gear leg.
Ah, thanks.
