We have a mobile RV repair business. I highly recommend getting it inspected by an RV inspector. We have found that new RVs seem to have a lot of issues. Nails through water lines, electrical connections improperly connected, etc. Hopefully you don’t have any issues, but it’s a good idea to get it inspected so you can have everything fixed while it’s under warranty prior to any major issues. Congratulations on your new home!

We did this it took 6 years, but we have our home paid for. Just remember that the circuit breaker is smaller than a house. Ie, running a AC and microwave may pop the breaker. You'll get the hang of it but it will be trial and error. Have fun!! Just remember your goal, put up a photo of what you're working towards. On bad days take a drive in the country to remotivate. You got this.😊

You've answered so many of my questions! What an adventure. My first suggestion, though, is to stop calling it a camper. It's your home, your "house" for the next time period. It's much bigger than many living spaces that larger families around the world have, and it's beautiful. I love the kitchen and the spaces to put things. I just pray that wherever you park your house will be a good place. Near us the expenses in them can add up to quite a bit, so I'm hoping that it will all work well for you so that you can really save money. Oh, I LOVE the outdoor kitchen too. May you be blessed abundantly as you start this new phase of your lives.

LOVE LOVE LOVE your RV! Bathroom (or any room really) storage suggestion - get a back of the door shoe organizer.. put all your little shit into that - wash cloths even can fit into a couple of em. put your shampoo and lotions in the bottom pockets to weight it down and you can use command hooks along the edges so it doesn't swing around when ya move the RV, LOVE YOU and proud of ya!

We were full time RVers for a few years. I made Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner in that kitchen three times as well as pies, breads, cakes, and yes, canning is very possible! It’s simply whatever you want it to be Tamera and I’m excited for your family! 😁

There are some propane burners that can handle a canner. I also recommend the presto digital . It's easy and would work well in a camper imo!
Don’t pay any attention to the naysayers. They just want attention for themselves, it’s sad. And anyone who would leave your channel because of your decision is very shallow at best. What you are doing is going to create great memories that you can look back on and smile when you get to your goal. It’s going to be great!!!

a lot of people have outdoor canners, you could set up a foldable table to lay out your jars etc, and use an outdoor canner. and i seen your newer video first, so i guess the laundry in the machine idea is no good lol....instead of baskets, you could just fold your clothes above the bed and hang a pretty matching curtain to what you have on the windows to cover it, then you wouldn't lose any space from the baskets

Our grandmother's and my Amish neighbors all do their canning in a summer kitchen with wood stoves. I think you'll do just fine with a luxurious camper and getting your bulk, batch and simple canning done. ❤

In our first homeschool years we traveled with my husband’s job and stayed in an RV. We got to spend almost a year near the Smoky Mountains. It was so fun. We had a Jayco Pinnacle and loved it. I pray you guys have a great experience! I think you will love it.
You probably already thought of this, but check the weight rateing on your stove to make sure it can take the weight of your canner/ canners. Its something ive heard other canning people talk about. The RV is beautiful. Cheers to a new adventure!

I live in a 40' fifth wheel trailer during the winter in Arizona. I can and store most of our food. We purchased a couple of shoe shelves from Walmart. We put them in one of the storage units under the trailer for extra food storage.

Love. It!! Love the white kitchen cabinets. Makes it look so much bigger. We bought an induction cooktop that we put on top of the stove and never used our propane, and bought a countertop oven. Kept it MUCH cooler when you’re cooking indoors.
Rent in our town is like $1300 a month for a one bedroom. Best of luck on your new adventure.

I have been watching your channel for over a year now. I have cooked many of your recipes. My family loves the milk and honey bread! I admire you and your family for chasing your goals! Praying for you!
When we go camping in our RV, sometimes it’s for weeks, I use a cast iron Dutch oven with a handle in a fire pit. I found a Dutch oven cook book at academy that has a lot of recipes. Instead of the recipe giving an oven temp, it tells you how many briquettes you place under and on top the Dutch oven. There is a learning curve. I LOVE cooking that way now.
You can do it, it is a blast.
Get some of those baby protector corner "things" for the corners of the closets in the bedroom! Ask me how I know 🤣...those corners will try to take you out until you get used to them. I love that bunkhouse!!!!!

We wanted to do this when I retired last year but we are older and both have mobility issues so it didn’t work for us, but there are days when we still wish we had done this. You guys are awesome and Winston and Max are about to have the best summer ever! Can’t wait to tag along with you guys on this new journey!

We have an outside kitchen with fridge too.
We have a bunk house. We removed the mattress and use the top for storage. InstantPot, toaster oven, etc.
You will want a Dorm Fridge up there. You will find the Fridge/Freezer you have, will not be enough. That is my advice.

Make sure to buy the non skid waffle sheets to keep appliances from sliding! It’s a must have. Also get the double stick tape is great to hang things and not ruin your walls.
My son just had his last day of second grade on Wednesday. Yes it's crazy that he is going into third grade also! Time goes by so fast!

I love the little size areas around the bed for a book nook! Did I say it? I'm so excited for you! I bet your hubby is claiming the easiest side of the bed to get in to. That's the only negative I have is that I have to get up to pee in the middle of the night, and I'd hit my head on the cabinet, and crawl to the end of the bed.
It’s a great way to live while building or saving for your home. My husband and I lived in our 27 (?) foot RV for 5 years. Best advice I can give you is be sure to insulate your windows. It can get cool in the winter. It’s an adventure enjoy it‼️

Hello I know things will work for you and the family ! If space allows where you are get a screened tent or even a basic tent to put some chairs and small table in so you can be out side of the camper sometimes and not have bugs after you . also if you just need to read a book or relaze by your self or even Winston could be there and you know where he is when you are out cooking.
