Tackling in the 50 dropped to zero without Darling who in his last two games before he was dropped performed heroically to get 12, and 9, inside 50 tackles. His absence especially with his physicality was sadly missed! That and of course Yeo's dynamics with Cripps and Ryan having unexplainable mares! Their worst games of their careers on the same day turned it into a massacre!

@@John-kl3ue It's a hard balance to make as so many of these kids are quite exceptional for their age and experience! But fully agree in my rugby career I saw how vital it was to play certain veterans to create the balance of gamesmanship with youthful exuberance to learn from those veterans! Although at 32 and 538 goals, Darling is hardly a hasbeen! I see his old forearm injury is troubling him.....,surely the medical staff can get a titanium rod for him. I guess he's set for surgery year end? I will be pissed if they push him to retire at 293 games that would be such an injustice to his character it would stink to high heaven.
