Great tutorial and probably a real game changer for a lot of surfers. Most of us aren't even conscious of it while we do it even though it leads to many missed opportunities. Thanks for the quality content. Cheers
Another set of excellent explanations of why, not just do. Also, the aerial rear view shows another useful angle for popping up. Can you do a zoom in version of this, please. Thanks
Thanks @Barry yeah you are right that one is interesting, will have to shoot this one again from closer.
you guys are really the benchmark!
Thansk @popmatic ! It means a lot !
I love the content you folks create. Extremely helpful tips. This stuff truly is changing my surf game. Thanks.

How ??
@@barefoot_surf by telling me to look up for the pop up and suddenly I dont struggle to pop up anymore. I have been surfing for 7 years and no teacher helped me to improve
@@carolina-hk1nd Awesome, we're happy to hear that :)
great one
Hi, I've been following this channel since last year and everything in your videos has always been spectacular. The sessions are great, there are several funny moments, the explanations are very clear... this channel is absolutely brilliant and you helped me a lot with the majority of my curiosities about the world of swimming and surfing, thank you so much. Anyway, I would like to make a suggestion (if it's not a problem): I'm convinced that to add a really funny video on your channel, you could make a compilation of all of the moments where you or your friends get "caught" on video while peeing in the water (my uncle relieved himself in a scuba diving session and that was hilarious), it's something like a "oops moments" compilation, what do you think? I'd be so so happy to watch it, let me know, bye!
what size of board do you recommend for a 5’2 person switching from a long board to a storyboard
i meant short board
Weight, time surfing and length of old board?
Can always go to a mid length first too.
Volume important too
I can only arch my back on my first couple of strokes, then I have to put my chin on the board or else I can't catch the wave.
Where is this filmed?
Hi Jim, mostly in Central America and Indonesia!
Australians bring the thunder from Down Under !
