@@guitarjet Thankyou for kind answer, but you now opened Pandoras box. I'm an old guy(drummer), who got a Strat a few years ago, that i'm copying my favourite licks from the 70's with. Can play a few chunks from some 70 rock-classics. I understand that music is built from pure math, but I can't grasp it at all without guidance, and have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. Fx I can play Sweet Home A, but have absolutely no understanding what is happening. D-C-G - ? is it G-major?? C? D? What pentatonic scale would fit this key (or any scale connected to whatever key, for that matter....) Looking for a penta-scale system that connects to a certain scale or chord-progression... Much to ask for, so I understand if you don't have the time to explain. Looking for tips to build a RUDIMENTARY foundation to grow and navigate from. Greetings from Sweden, and good luck with your channel!
@@jonnifjader Thank you! As for your question, G-C-D is a 1-4-5 progression from the G major scale. You can play a G major pentatonic (which you can also think of as E minor pentatonic, because they have the same notes) over the chord progression.
The way you Explain was very helpful Thanks Bro.
@@tyroneprivott9309 Anytime, bro!

@ Big thankyou. But i mean if there’s any difference between DCG and let’s say GCD, how to do back up riffs or soloing. Sorry I’m a retard on this…🙃
