HOW TO DYE ACID WASH JEANS DARKER USING RIT BACK TO BLACK KIT || Lucykiins

In today's video, I'm dyeing some acid wash jeans darker using Rit's Back to Black Kit. Denim that has been previously chemically dyed tends to be harder to dye since you don't know exactly what type of chemicals were used. I still decided to give these a makeover since any other color would be better than the outdated acid wash lol. Hope you guys enjoy ♥

I followed this tutorial and it worked perfectly! It's weird how the dye doesn't change the color of the thread.

it's because the thread is most likely polyester and that doesn't absorb regular dye 😊

it depends cuz sometimes jeans have coatings on them that won't allow them to fully dye. watch this one for example: ua-cam.com/video/MPwt69vEcJM/v-deo.html

If the dye water from the jeans spills on asphalt does it stain?

i don't think so and if it does, it's not permanent. i've spilled some and it tends to go away.

it didn't dye since it's not cotton material.
