Bought this from Sweden its awesome!
love this mount. so simple!
Thank you!
Finally an affordable mounting system for the Gen 3. Also can you let me know how good or bad it works? I'm worried as I can't orient the dish. Currently I just set mine on my Promaster roof and use the Starlink Alignment tool in the app.
I haven’t noticed any significant alignment issues. You might experience a slight performance hit if the alignment isn’t perfect, but the convenience of being able to use it without deploying outweighs any performance loss. When my wife and I had to take the Starlink out of the box and set it up, we rarely used it because we were always on the go. Now, we leave it on for most of our trips.
@@1point3liter Awesome. I am in the mountains of North Carolina and have found a few parking spots where I know the perfect orientation for Starlink on the top of my van. I'm sure you get good at parking so orientation is optimized.
@@netposerx We dont even check it!
I was under the assumption that the dish has to mounted at an angle to match the sattelite direction. Do you have any idea of how much MBPS is lost with a basically horizontal mount on your roof? Thanks!
@@Bob9999starlink works great mounted flat. if it’s perfectly aligned, you will get the best possibly performance, but we regularly see over 200mbit with a flat mounted dish. the convenience and mobility far out weigh minimal gains from alignment.
Wow! Thank you so much!
happy to hear this is a good solution for you!
