Thank you for showing the Intellishade tinted moisturizer. I have used it for several years. The original is quite dewey, and the matte is too dry even on my combo skin. The last couple of years I have mixed them 50/50 to make my perfect blend. I think a lot of people have had a bathroom mixup at least once. I lived in a co-ed dorm at UC Berkeley with one big bathroom and shower area for everyone. I still remember my dad having a fit about it!

Iherb, here I come! I LOVE grape stuff, and it stems from my childhood summers, and grape kool aid. To this day, I try all the grape stevia things I can because I try to stay away from too much sugar.
So, I’m not a knitter, but I do crochet. I also bring a skein of yarn and a hook or two when I travel because it’s so meditative. I even crochet when I don’t have a project in mind. I just start practicing stitches. Very zen.

There is a lady that knits/crochets little "mice" that she drops into the SPCA to be put with all the cats and kittens in there, each cat/kitten gets their own. When you adopt one you take home that little toy too. Our cats still love their mice and play with them :).
So if you don't have a project in mind, perhaps you could start a trend ;).

The mice this lady does is knitted around a little piece of foam. They're tough though as our cats are pretty reckless with them :).

Knitting is wonderful! It is the preferred craft for a lot of people in disciplines like architecture, engineering and sciences because it engages the mind in using math to create 3 D objects. As you said it is a great portable craft. I taught myself to knit socks two at a time on long circular kneedles and my son says they are the best socks ever. Glad you are having an enjoyable time! Hi! The topics for the conference seem very interesting. The discussions must have been very animated among colleagues. What a great idea to have been able to watch the movie Mama Mia! You made me laugh with the story of the men's room. It's the kind of thing that could happen to me because I'm super distracted. I often make mistakes and with age it doesn't get better at all. My mother was like me! I will always remember the moment I saw her leave the house with a pot lid. Once she got to the bottom of the stairs, she realized it wasn't her wallet...lol! She came back immediately and we laughed at this incident. Very weird!

Yup. You're not the first to dash into a men's room. Been there, and agree...getting wiser (as you say) means it's easier to brush the embarrassment off. :) And I'm fairly certain there have been some studies (many anecdotal evidence, not sure) that doing something like doodling, coloring, or knitting during a meeting or talk actually can help process the information. And...oh, the chilled washcloths are heaven. Took a spin class at a gym one, on a business trip, and the chilled washcloth they handed out to all the students during the cooldown was so, so good. Glad you had a fun trip! Loved being a fly on the wall for some of it, thanks!

I went to the men's bathroom in college once too, I didn't even realize when all the boys were gaping at me; that was the awkward thing. LOL! But all the girls stared at me accusingly when I came back out. And then the penny dropped. Haha! Oh well... Nobody said anything though, so at least there's that. :)

I walked into the men’s restroom on my wedding day in my wedding dress. No one said anything on my way in but several photos were taken as I was walking out. 🤦🏼♀️ And the photos were posted on Facebook. 😒😞

Lol I’ve ran into the men’s restroom but it was empty when I went into the stall so didn’t realize it until I came out to find men in the restroom and noticed the urinal I hadn’t noticed in my rushing full bladder moment. Soooo embarrassing 😬

ok I had to stop the video when you talked about knitting because right before that I was thinking how I knit so much during conference........I use to love going to Chicago and on free time before the conference go to Looped Yarnworks the yarn store. I cast on a new shawl usually with my yarn purchases and brought way too much back. LOL I knit alot while listening to videos. I have a beautiful red alpaca lace shawl on my needles right beside me. By the way 15:08 Resilence is touching. I needed to see that as I am about to head back to work after being out after a car accident last year. Knitting has been my zen too after the last year of healing. Hope you get some rest after your travels!

If I had a dollar for everytime I've walked into a mens bathroom by accident...! Luckily it's usually empty but there have been a fee incidents when there were men at urinals who looked even more weirded out than I did! So glad you are enjoying the conference, I think it's really important to go to woman centric events, especially in medicine because of the general patriarchal system that medicine is and has been for too long!

One of the best vegan cafes in LA. A must try if your planning a trip to LA.they make a great vegan key lime pie. Even my hardcore carnivore husband was impressed. Baby steps for him but at least in the right direction

Pissed at you!!!! Now that's a play on words. Haha Hey, I think we've all done it. I love that, "we are drowning in information while starving for wisdom". Also the "one who falls". I enjoy erythritol in my coffee every morning. It's the only sweetener that I've found that is calorie-free and doesn't have an after-taste. I have done research on it and can't find anything adverse about it except for the fact that some people can't use it as it upsets their G.I .track. i enjoyed the vlog.

Women in medicine sure have come a long way. My 2nd Grandmother who was a Quaker had a dream of becoming a physician. She spent two years studying at a Quaker school for two years which is now the University of Iowa. However, at that time the men would not let her go to medical school so she became a schoolteacher instead. In later years after her children were older she became a much sought after midwife.she was born in 1854.
I am very lucky and I never take for granted the sacrifices and adversity that my senior mentors faced
