@johnmcmanus123 as with anything aftermarket, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act does not allow a manufacturer to void a warranty due to an aftermarket part or tune, but if they can prove that it caused a factory part to fail, then they can deny a warranty claim.
Grommets were put in reversed from the original intake. Is that intentional? Putting mine on this weekend, and want to make sure I've got everything squared away before I start
I don't have an AWD dyno, let alone a regular dyno, otherwise I'd have done it. Don't believe everything you see with dyno runs, you can get a fair comparison, but those numbers are far too easy to manipulate for a video. As far as overall increased gains, you won't see much without also installing a tune, but you will spool quicker, have better throttle response, and hear the turbo noises when you let off the pedal under load. Hope that helps!
Hows the noise on acceleration? With cold air intakes I've had in the past, you get a boggy sound when accelerating. Thanks.
Any MPG gains from this setup?
That's just what we tell our wives. ;)
Good install video, question though, does this require a tune after install ?
That kit does not require a tune, but you'll get the maximum performance benefit with a good tune.
@@ToddsTruckLife so if you get a tune in the maverick does it void your warranty

@@ToddsTruckLife thanks for the answer

As long as it goes back together, you're good.
So, why no Dyno follow up video on how much power it makes over stock?

Is that air intake pulling air through the radiator?
No, it pulls air from above the grille, before it goes through the radiator. It's the same location as the factory intake.
No replies smh.. 👎👎
I went through and made sure there were replies for you. Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any questions.
