Excellent story, well paced with little to no overlaps. The denouement was sweet but flat. Could have used some expansion. A Sarah Chen story I actually enjoyed.
I watched the spelling from 2 minutes to 9 m8nutes and did not note an errors. To which words are you referring? Perhaps they are spelt in "England English", not the unusual US variant?...
These short stories in general that all have the same format and would appear to have the same process. There seem to be too many conversions - minimum STT (captions) followed by TTS (narration). I suspect a TTS before those two processes. No one is proofing the captions before they are used for the final narration. Probably a result of going to multiple languages?
I think you should apply for a job as reader of stories. All it takes is a human to read the story with proper inflection with a story to tell from different perspectives. It's like reading a book to a child and make sure the story comes through. Well there you are. AI has not advanced to conversational English, you could lead the way. Reading a book to a child leads the way to reading to everyone. Give it a try.
Ya. That little pink area in the corner of each eye by the nose. Its vestigial, we no longer have the muscles to move or control them. Do they just sit there... Useless.
Good story. Inconsistancies exist. Sometime there is a switch from one person/alien talking to several people/aliens talking. Ex.: Vix8; "...their primary emotion..." Is this indicating that this alien has multiple personalities? If so, that should be made clearer. Otherwise, get a better English grammer checker.
Wow. This is the best one of these little stories I have watched/heard. 10 stars!

This one was very nice ... far better than most of the others I have read recently ... wonderful!!
And no mention of coffee!
Plz don’t mention human stimulants to them; their poor brains would implode.
Very good story. Thank you
At last tea.!
It would be nice if these nice stories were accompanied by nice captions that had words spelled correctly.
