Fantastic ! You would come across a few snakes when you are out in the bush. A lot of effort would be behind the scenes. I love your Eastern Spinebill photos and the Black Bittern looks funny. It's wonderful to see your photos of the Regent Honeyeater and the Swift Parrot.
Thank you for your kind comments. I have seen a few snakes but mostly asleep. I did see an Eastern Brown facing off with a Willie Wagtail once. The Willie won and the EB slunk off into the swamp. There is a long story behind the Black Bittern. My friends deserted me that morning and then the BB turned up strutting up and down the log. My friends did not speak to me for a month afterwards.
