This audio is way too quiet fam
been listening to nick since the short hair . best talk show host on NY
Whose nepo baby @ FS1 can't get the volume right. It's been a month. Someone's son or daughter needs to go.
Colins show is always so low on here I hate it lol
@@Jwrightthethird agree.
My son! Give me back MY SON!
Amateur hour for the tech team .... or make that 19 minutes 7 seconds
🤣🤣🤣 true
I'm so sick of having to turn the volume all the way up then "HI EVERYBODY IT"S ME UNCLE COLIN" startling the ahit out of me
I can’t even watch it on my tv because I start relaxing and then it blasts in my house lmao
The one before this one was unbearable lol
Why can’t yall figure out the audio?
I was just going to write the same comment. the audio on fox is always soft.
😂
@@andywagoner it's fine on FTF
lmao the low volume is always low until the "Uncle Colin" promo. Not gonna lie, props to Colin if he's trolling all of us.😂
Bronnys ceiling is #1 or 2 overall in the WNBA.
Dude can only dream of being better than Clark or Reese
Ya’ll think bronny can score at least 4 ppg his rookie year as 11th man off the bench?
@@kickface103 NBA or WNBA.
i just checked for the LA Sparks normal $25, for the Indiana game $350 lol wow
Billon dollar company & y’all still can’t fix the audio 🤦♂️
I can't believe they just mentioned Cooper Flagg on the Herd. I'm from Maine, my whole family is from Newport, Maine where Cooper is from. We're not known for producing sports stars in any sport😮😊
Thats awesome! He seems like he could be a legitimate nba superstar just based on potential. Happy your town will get some love
“After Michael and tiger could put in the three spot” 😭😭😭 that is hilarious 🤣🤣🤣
I say we put Taylor swift in the 3 spot. I mean GET OVER IT. SHES ONLY THE BROADCAST FOR 7 SECONDS
Timberwolves need guard help especially on the defensive side. I really hope we draft Bronny James. I believe he will be an elite defender in 4-5 years
how do they not see the shift in the NBA? You’re going to need a big center to keep up with Wemby moving forward. The game is going to revert back to big centers
Wemby has guard skills within his game, just like Jokic and Giannis.
once again, soft audio.
until "HEY ITS ME UNLCE COLIN" comes and blasts out my speakers
Nick's take on both Caitlin and Juju is spot on.
What a snub to KU.
My thoughts too! Ha!
They forget the 2020 year we would've wo. The ship... then we won it 2021.
MSU?
@NastyNate515 over Cassius Winston and MSU? Final 4 from the year before. Same team returns.
Nick you’re a KC guy and you don’t mention Kansas with the blue bloods?!?! Come on! They’ve been the best of the blue bloods over that span
He’s a Mizzou fan. I remember when he was on local sports radio, he would hate on Kansas. The border rivalry was real. Back then, you were either with KU or Mizzou
They’re terrible
Nick is the best.
Love that the audio on these videos makes me question my hearing since I'm getting a little older now.
please fix audio
Audio is still bad.
It prevents you from having people listen while they're falling asleep. Might not be a big deal, but I cant have every commercial that plays after your videos wake me up because its blasting. Get you audio db levels right intern.
I had the same opinion on ZE but changed my mind when I watched the finals.. he seems to have improved a lot since the FIBA world cup championships
love colin and nick !!!
The Blue Bloods, imo, are the historically great programs. I'm shocked Nick forgot about Kansas, but KU, UK, and UNC are the top tier blue bloods. Naismith invented the game at Kansas, and his coaching tree includes Rupp and Dean Smith. Those three schools are pretty much always great. They're also top 3 all time in wins and winning percentage. Duke and UCLA are also historically great programs, but mostly due to one all-time great coach. Indiana is also in the conversation, although they haven't been nearly as good this century. UCONN didn't make a Final Four until 1999. They've been the best program since then, and their success in the Final Four (6 out 7 championships is crazy) with 3 different coaches is remarkable, but they've also missed the tournament several times in that span. They're a New Blood, and they're the best right now.
Would you put a high school .230 hitter into a MLB game even to pinch hit? You’d be fired immediately. This is the biggest non-story story in my 50 year lifetime. Pure insanity
Audio super quiet for both Nick and Colin
The world runs on nepotism, and it won’t ever change
I have hired my entire family to six figure contracts. Deal with it.
The entire point of reproduction is to pass along your stuff
All sports leagues would suck if they relied purely on drafting unqualified players because they're related to another player.
This only happens with super stars, because nobody cares if you're related to some mid player, which is also why it isn't a big deal.
Other forms of nepotism often happen because the kids of people in a given business are also more likely to have experience in that given business anyways.
And any serious role is not going to be given to someone incompetent due to nepotism (And if that happens, the business doesn't last long)
There’s always this weird strawman made how everyone’s fine with nepotism with Ownership, FOs, coaching, etc. Uh…no? lol you constantly hear owners who inherited their teams from their fathers (Buss, Dolan, Mara, etc) about how incompetent they are and only got the team because of their fathers. Or whenever a GM or HC is bad, their nepotism is brought up. This idea everyone is fine with it and it’s never brought up except when it comes to players is ignoring reality to make your point seem poignant.
He has to be on Brons side. I feel like I’ve never seen him have a take against LeBron. It’s not even an anti LeBron thing but Wright thinks Bron is someone you can’t criticize. Unless I’m missing takes he’s had.
Nepotism is the entire point of reproduction. Welcome to earth.
@ksferg1317 I honestly believe Nick Wright won't get an NBA vote till LBJ retires. The league just won't give him it even though "lesser" sports media people have one.
@@ksferg1317Nick and Colin have dreamed of having guys like LeBron, Brady, Jeter, Mahomes, Manning as coworkers for years so they glaze them as much as possible duribg their career to help get them on at their networks after they retire.
I don't get how inheriting a team from your dad makes you any more incompetent as an owner than simply buying a team from money you made in a completely different business.
If anything, a person who grows up around their dad who owns a sports team is going to be more invested and more knowledgeable about the field than some random business person.
David Tepper, Panthers owner, is constantly criticized for being out of his depth, despite not having inherited the team and being one of the richest owners.
I know that's besides your point, just saying. Agreed Colin is being ridiculous by pretending we're all okay with nepotism that doesn't directly benefit us.
Cheryl Miller, Sheryl Swoopes, A'ja Wilson, Maya Moore, Tarausi, Stewart, Catchings-- Clark is somewhere in that mix.
Maya Moore is in a class of her own.
Love nick wright on the show for 20 mins
Maybe if we keep commenting about the audio they’ll eventually see it.
@TheHerdOnFS1 - you guys need to increase your normalized audio levels.
I have UA-cam on Max, and my PC on max and can barely hear the video.
Note: I don't need to increase my audio for other channels. (including Nick's channel)
p.s.s. Even Colin's signoff outro is much louder
Cooper Flagg is going to Duke? He’s nice.
I was thinking the entire game that Edey would fit perfectly in Miami
It’s the NBA. It jumped the shark at least a decade ago.
The 73 win team that lost the Finals was the last watchable season.
Hornets need to pick Zach Edey and Matas Buzelis.
Coming from someone who watches women’s basketball, Clark is awesome but don’t forget about Cynthia Cooper and Maya Moore! Definitely Goats!
Colin saying “Yeah” in the creepiest voice I’ve ever heard at 17:57 just made my day 😂
yeah, that's the way the world works - but ask anyone in any company who they despise - its the person who got their job because of family/friend connections. they tend to be incompetent and unqualified
best case, you don't give them any serious responsibility , they just get a title/pay, and then stick them somewhere where they can't cause problems.
Fix the GD audio please - I’m going to go deaf listening to this segment because the ads and the outro are insanely loud
I hate that the audio is never right. I hate that I can't stop watching even more.
From a spectator standpoint, it’s really hard to get it with Hurley. He’s on the court pushing players, he’s on the court trash talking the other team, he’s whining all the time. It’s just hard to watch. Kudos to them for winning and he’s obviously got his guys buying in, but he’s the most cringe coach I’ve ever seen.
Nick, low keyed, took a shot at Jason McIntyre and his criticism of the Pudue center Zach Edey.
The kid has some skills. I don't know what McIntyre's issue is with Edey.
The volume is too low guys
UConn the best team ever
Any other player, the opening soliloquy would be naming times in history nepotism backfired
VOLUME!
Even an audio in a cave is better than this😂
Dont direspect boban like that!
My boy was dominating in europe
All I see from this year and last is that losing to LSU was a choke last year
All I see is a stupid comment 🤦♂️
How much money do we think LeBron paid Shams to say that his son (averaging 4.4 points/game) is “nba ready” I honestly had a hard time typing that up because I was laughing so much!😂
Why does Maya Moore always get forgotten in the women’s basketball conversation?
Bruh up the volume (not a podcast joke) literally fix it
FIX THE AUDIO LEVELS ALREADY
Compare Hurley to Sirianni again and I’ll find where u live Nicholas Wright
Better stop disrespecting KU.... remember the covid year we was CLEARLY the best team in the country
What Nick left out was Giannis had a monster game to keep them in it but the rest of the team couldn't do enough. He was hurt last year and played hurt. Sadly he has been playing hurt again and now got pulled from a game because he couldn't finish and that is scary to see from him. Right now they are ust saying they see nothing crazy but still doing and MRI and yeah. Either way , nevermind the coaching changes the best players one the team have not been able to play healthy together most of the year. Giannis will need to be able to play full strength for a chance and they still do if he can power through this if not to bad.................
No ones hating, if this was a regular prospect we would say he wasnt ready either or not even know he existed averaging 4pts & why can only the Lakers draft him thats lame to, the media can try to protect this move all they want fans know its weak that Bronny is getting into the NBA because his Dad he didnt earn it
Why can’t LeBron seek a 1-year deal while Bronny goes back to college? If the whole point is for them to PLAY together, why declare now just so Bronny can fight for minutes in the G-League? Two of the nepo examples Nick mentioned on FTF yesterday, Chris Smith and Seth Curry, both played 100+ more games and put up better stats in college than Bronny. Forget the “nepo baby” debate or whether or not he “deserves” to be drafted, it feels like he’s being pushed to do something he’s clearly not ready for.
Why would bronny be in the g league?😂he was the best defender in college last year he could at least be a role player like pj tucker on an nba team at minimum
@@kylewade8704 So after putting up 5/3/2 in 25 games (6 starts) on a mediocre team in the Pac-12, he’s going to play meaningful minutes in the NBA? If you say so!
I just think the discourse around him is insane. If he was any other player with that resume, he wouldn’t get anywhere near the draft this year.
@@scottmurphy6162 u said it not me😂I lowkey agree with u tho that he would play substantial minutes in the nba
We really can't fix the low audio issue!!! The Uncle Colin blasting at the end is just stupid
Wright including Indiana, but not bringing up KU, come on man
Clark is better then zero king
The media is crazy sometimes. No one except for those benefiting has been "okay" with nepotism.
I'm not saying this Bronny thing is a big deal, but these two are literally trying to convince us that we're being unreasonable by seeing nepotism as a negative thing 🤦🏾♂️
Product is D+ still Colin
Your shining example of nepotism is the Patriots? Maybe the worst team in the AFC?
Can everyone stop complaining about the audio? Listen to the pod if you don’t like it
lol stop saying “37 and 10” or “28 and 8”..dude is 7’4”, he doesn’t have to try to get 10 rebounds, just existing gets him 10. Stat lines are stupid.
A "Doc Rivers" coached team failing miserably in the playoffs? Say it ain't so...
Kansas
GM's and the Media still leave in the past.
You can't win much with just 2 elite players and a bunch of nobodies.
You need 9 to 10 good and well connected players to win it all.
The Bucks, the Suns, the Clippers without Russ, the Mavs before the trade deadline and the Lakers before DLo green light had the same problem.
In today's NBA you need multiple players that can win you multiple games outside the big 2 or 3.
You need players that can score 20/25/30 points other than your stars.
You need players that allow your stars to rest or score 18 and the team still wins multiple games.
The Bucks can go nowhere without both Lillard and Giannis having good to great games.
Denver is special because multiple players can win you the game, even if Jokic goes 14-10-7.
Tatum can score 17 on 5-18 shooting and the Celtics still win by a decent margin.
1. Giannis and the Bucks GM's are the ones to blame.
Neither desired to keep a winning coach and signed an outdated mid coach.
2. This Bucks project needs better complementary players and more balance.
3. Lillard should go. Giannis is clearly the primary ballhandler of the team - at least, this is what he wants to be.
4. Brook is no longer the player he used to be. Bench him.
5. Giannis need more Klay Thompson / Huerter / DiVincenzo ... wait! - type of players. Players that can be effective without needing the ball much.
6. Coach Bud is no longer there but Bret Brown could be a decent option. He was the only one capable of making Ben Simmons play.
My hot take is JuJu Watkins will be a better wnba player then Caitlyn Clark, her bag is DEEP!
Newsflash, Bam canNOT space the floor offensively. Doesn’t even attempt threes much less make them.
imagine Jimmy Bam and Edey spacing.. that was a disgusting take by Nick.
Kentucky has titles when they had 8 teams that n the tourney. They are not the same.
LOL why don't any of these media clowns just say it? Bronny sucks. Only ones that don't know that are both Bronny and Lebron. Please Lakers, waste a pick on that dude.
The problem isn’t nepotism. The problem is unearned placement in power. If you work the company and prove yourself to be good, then yeah you’ll get chosen over someone not in the family. James hasn’t done anything near competent in college yet
I like nick mentions they lost without Breanna Stewart without realizing what he’s saying and not mentioning her wnba titles that she won …..Championships just follow her I guess
But I'm about
Golden State needs a big man and he’s the perfect anchor for that defense. Warriors draft Edey
Thumbnail and title complaints? This comment section is turning into Caleb Hammer’s subreddit.
The audio lately been awful
It keeps him with the Lakers.
What bigs can Edey guard? Not Chet, Joker, AD, not Wembanyama, not Porzingis...
Who cares about defense, its rhe NBA
The question is not whether he will be in the NBA, but if he will PLAY because of nepotism that is a much bigger difference
Edey to the grizz plz
UConn UConn UConn nick is yapping
if I'm, the Knicks. I'd take Bronny late in the first for Lebron. All day long. He's 25/7/7 still. He's been to 10 finals. and he's the GOAT. It would probably make them some money as well.
I’ve been saying Edey would form great alongside Bam on the Heat. True center finally
that spacing would be god awful
Coming out in full-throated favor a nepotism is a choice.
Love Caitlyn Clark, no one will watch college basketball next year in any way close to the way they did this year.
You (we) can all resent the advantages that are given to the children born to powerful or wealthy parents . . . OR we can get to work on our own lives. Any (and every) NBA team has every right to waste a draft pick or to sign any unqualified guy they want to. None of this matters in any real life setting. The only person who has ANY right to resent Bronny James being drafted is the guy who he gets drafted in place of.
Diana Tourassi Is better than Caitlin Clark
Taurasi is washed. Clark is going to cross her.
we're talking prime Diana and you know this... dont be a disingenuous lil boy about it, man up deal with the fact DT is better ok. @@AuburnFanSince2010

Sixers have faced horrible teams since embiids been back and thunder without their 2 best players.
They didn’t have the light on them that Bronny has. He’s had the light on him and has been God awful
Oppenheimer was so boring if I wasn't with my dad I would've walked out. But I kinda knew alot of the story already
In 3yrs JuJu..watch her film and highlights
99% of people are not ok with nepotism
The definition of "blue blood" is a person of noble birth. So if a program didn't win multiple championships almost 100 years ago or roundabout the dawn of television, they can't really ever be blue-blooded no matter how many championships are won. Modern times, "elite" is probably the descriptor. Being a blue-blood doesn't necessarily equate to an elite status. A blue-blood is just a traditional brand. A lot of them are still successful, but not all of them all of the time.
Fun fact, definitions of words are not objective. If we colloquially don’t really refer to “blue blood” as you’ve stated (and we dont) then the definition is somewhat subjective.
Duke was irrelevant until 1986.
No one has been in favor of nepotism ever. The whole reason we like sports, is because you can’t play QB for the Chiefs, because your dad owns the team.
Audio sucks
