actually, squares (Switzerland and Vatican City) are rectangles too, so the correct answer is 1 : Nepal.
Yes, my thoughts too. Squares are rectangles
Exactly! Also the equator only goes through 11 countries. Idk if they counted some island group that gets divided by it…
@@coloripple Sao Tome & Principe off the west Coast of Africa and Kiribati, in the Pacific that straddles all 4 Hemispheres. That makes the 13.
@@krash66 Yea I counted Sao Tome. It's 11. Have you even checked?
I'll name them. Equador, Colombia, Brazil, Saotome, Gambia, RepCongo, DRC, Uganda, Kenya, Somalia and Indonesia.
Sure, Peru, Maldives and Kiribati come close, it's clearly 11 countries with land on the equator.
How can a vid like this be 2 off?
@@coloripple Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Sao Tome & Principe, Gabon, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Somalia, Maldives, Indonesia and Kiribati. Google is your friend ;) Territory includes waters, and remember, Kiribati has 32 atolls and covers a HUGE area. But, you are correct that the Equator does not hit land in Maldives or Kiribati, but it only misses by less than 5 miles in each case. Well within territorial waters, by any definition.
Please don't stop making these quizzes. Love 'em. The problem is, I'm addicted to them.
Fun quiz! I have visited most of these countries, but I still got stumped with the questions about the places in Africa. This has made me go through my old travel photos and appreciate the experience.
Calling Tibet a 'country'. I was wondering why this channel hasn't cracked the Chinese market yet!
Great quiz much better than the easy ones with multiple choice, you either know the answer or you don't , I must confess to only 44/50. keep up the good work.
Nicely done. Challenging, because you have to know the answer and be fast.
It really is!
#9, there is only one non rectangular flag, as squares are still rectangles.
That was pretty challenging but interesting! 37/50.
Interesting questions - although the flag ones kill me. Also, my instinct on the 'highest mountain in Europe' was definitely for Mont Blanc, as I had always figured Russia as lying within Asia as opposed to Europe, but I've since read it sits in both regions, so there you go.
The one with the non-rectangular flags was dumb because a square is still rectangular
Great mix of questions, thanks
Thank you for watching!
Tibet isn’t actually a country, the correct answer would be Nepal and China. Great quiz though, I love geography!
That's right! I got that one right after all! t/y!
Really great questions!!!!
Thank you. Wasn't sure initially that the questions may be too difficult for some :)
Thank you so much
Got almost all of them, either because I've been there or because I received a good geographical education, a lot of it in the 3rd grade, and our family put a priority on world-place knowledge.
Great quiz. I missed 7 and I am a geographer by education.
Great job, Roy ! And thank you for watching !
The question about Australian states is a little confusing as there are six states and one territory - the Northern Territory - so there are really seven different 'regions' - and there is also the capital - Australian Capital Territory.
Exactly what I thought!
Love this video
The music is what made this quiz so good.
Finally a proper quiz.I only got 35 correct. I found the time was a bit quick.I know. excuses.
👏😍💐✨👏😍💐✨👏😍💐✨👏😍
🤗🤗Thank you for the wonderful video from start to finish!I’m very glad to meet you.❤️👍👍
👏😍💐✨👏😍💐✨👏😍💐✨👏😍
Fun, and I answered better (somewhat) once I figured out I could freeze frame the question(s)
Good workaround ! :)
With my morning coffee...
Nice quiz... thanks...
Excellent quiz and for a change no multiple answers , but just 5 seconds is to fast , maybe 10 seconds would be better.
God, no. That would be very slow. 😉
39. Number 9 was a trick question
Switzerland´s and Vatican’s flags are square, wich are, by definition, rectangles
that's what I thought too! Only Nepal is the non-rectangle which means only 1 ... I did get that one right after all :)
A square is a rectangle, so only one flag isn’t rectangular. And Mt. Elbrus isn’t normally considered to be in Europe.
Yes, I thought the Caucuses were in Asia. Far east of Istanbul. But, I am not a geographer.
I agree that a square is a rectangle, but Mt Elbrus is usually considered the highest mountain in Europe.
Excellent quiz!
Thank you, Mark!
That was such a great quiz. I got less than 50% correct. Not like me that. Must’ve been a great quiz.
Re question # 9: all squares are rectangles by mathematical definition. Thus Nepal is the only country with a non-rectangular flag.
Great quiz, 48/50
Wow! Almost perfect. Thank you for watching, David!
I only got 19! And I thought I was geographically literate 🙄😂
Brilliant quiz if you can read the questions without a magnify glass
Ha! Thanks John for the comment. It has been rectified to most of the recent videos as they now are in much readable form
time for you to get a bigger monitor/tv
Fun quiz...I got eleven wrong
23/50 ... i'm a fail!
a square is a rectangle so Nepal is the only 1 flag
Tibet is not a country, China is so it's Nepal and China
Tough, tough test. I got just better than half right…
England also has an Atlantic Coast and a Mediterranean Coast (Gibraltar).
Personally, I would say Gibraltar is fully in the Mediterranean Sea, as it is really east of the straits.
11/50 way way wahhhhhhh.
The contient of america is also in the north, south east and Western Hemisphere. Alaska is the most east most and west most state in the US, and well, almost all south america is in the south of the equator..
North America and South America are two different continents.
@@mohilrai since when?
@@felipemoensdehase3631 All the 20th century for a start.
Not as challenging as your usual quizzes. I got 48/50 because I couldn't count how many countries were on the equator in 5 seconds and in a brain fart, forgot the existence of Mount Elbruz. I'm giving myself the answer 1 for Q9 because a square is still a rectangle (just like an equilateral triangle is still a type of triangle). I also gave myself the Everest one, because Tibet isn't a country (it has been part of China now for quite some time).
And yes, I have just realised this quiz is over a year old, but that's the algorithm for you.

I don't know, man. That Vatican City flag looks awfully rectangular to me. The correct answer is 2 (Switzerland & Nepal).
The correct answer should only be Nepal, as the rest of the flags can be classified as a rectangular shape...
@@pokemonjame03 Nope.
@@spacecowboy2957 Squares are as rectangular as any other rectangle. Rectangle just means a quadrilateral (four sided plain figure) with 4 right angles.
1:02 me as a 13 year old: hold my water bottle
OK, I have counted them 10 times on a map. There are 13 countries in South America, not 12. Are you not counting French Guyana?
If you are counting French Guiana, it is 12 and a bit not 13.
#43??? The answer is literally on the screen, why do that? Weird
There are 14 countries on the south American continent (Seems they forgot France and the U.K.
Tibet isn't a country.
Only 1 country has a non rectangular flag (Nepal)
There are only 6 states in Australia (and 1 territory)
Hiiii
What music is this?
Really easy
Prints are small , screen can be reconfigured to accommodate larger prints .
Istanbul is not major city in Turkey.. Major city in Turkey is ANKARA
Ankara is the Capital. Istanbul is definitely a major city. It has 15 million people. Ankara has 5 million. Major city does not mean capital city. Any city can be major. New York City is NOT the capital of anything. Is it not a major city?
Wow, I'm a moron
9 out of 50 hahaha
Scarsly 19 points only.Geography is not for me.
technically tibet is not a country (unfortunately)
why unfortunately? they'd die w/o China constantly giving them charity! are you kidding me?
Tibet is not a country, it's China.
48/50....how many countries the equator crosses...failed ...well.....not easy answer without a map and counting..and the three peaks challenge....too local question
2nd question Kosovo is Serbia
@Daniel Anuchan it is Serbia
Serbians seem to think that if they say it enough times it will be true. 😉
I won even if my gf keeps cheating
