FOLKE WULF Flight 1 (crash) 240519

First flight with new tank was the reason it was short filled just in case some adjustments were needed - a big mistake as these engines do not give any warning of low fuel before quitting.
Damage is repairable.

Had the same thing happen to me, was outside loop engine stalled and the lines went loose and tried my best hopping backwards to get lines to recover, good your plane was not wasted

Yes it is hard to recover when the engine quits while doing outside loops. I was lucky to regain some control just before ground contact which may have saved the plane from more damage.

Very cool plane! Was this scratch-built, or a kit? Seems like it had good flight characteristics both upright and inverted. And good, repeatable loops.
Hopefully you got it flying by now once again!

It is a scratch -built. I will be flying it again soon.
