Eminem was rapping about Hilary Duff's ass in his 30's while she was 17 or 16 lol so stop with that disgusting and disrespectful shit if you're gonna be selective when it comes to actually standing up against shit like that.
And he picked the wrong one! If I wanted to hear someone who sounds like Blink 182, I'd be listening to Blink 182 or any of those pop punk bands that sound the same.
You kind of brought a false narrative up. You picked maybe the 4 worst lines from MGK's diss and threw it against the four best from Em's. Even though I think Em won that diss battle, mgk still dropped a full rap project after that; with one pop punk as the closing song. This song blew up and mgk used this and continued to make more pop punk music which fueled his whole venture into pop punk; to which he dropped two number 1 albums. He also always made punk/rock music before this, and always incorporated elements of punk into his music. Em didn't destroy him, and certainly didn't kill his career. While his EP with Trippie charted pretty poorly; it was still an EP and not an album, one with no label promotion. I've seen people throwing this up against Eminem's greatest hits compilation album, with songs like Lose Yourself, Without Me, Stan, etc; his biggest songs, as they sold about the same amount of units despite it being like 15-20 years after Eminem dropped his compilation album. Mgk still sold over 100k units with Tickets to my Downfall and still had a pretty successful rap album in Hotel Diablo; still his rap music compares nothing to Eminem's.
All MGK had to do was #1) Not call Ems 16 yr old daughter at the time hot af, #2) Apologize publically #3) Not poke the bear Those three mistakes led to him being disgruntled at Eminem which it was his manager Paul who banned him from the Shady 45 (for not apologizing) and eventually poking the bear by dissing Em on his freestyle and Tech N9NE's track. MGK doesn't know what blackballed means, getting banned from one radio show is not blackballing. Being banned from ALL of them is, 50 cent is a good example of what was blackballing is like as he couldn't record anywhere until he got picked up by Em and Dre. I always thought MGK using the blackballing angle was mad corny

Out of anybody who I ever heard take a shot at Eminem through music, mgk hit him the hardest. I'm more team em but Ima give props when it's due. Nobody who ever made a diss song on em came nowhere close to this caliber.
Mgk isn't a bad rapper imo. I just think he bit off more then he can chew a little too early in his career and against one of the best who ever picked up a mic.
Eh I think the one that really hit him was Canibus

MGK can’t string a diss together very well and it showed. Like Em said, “He had a few good lines.” Other than that it was all over the place. People like it because it sounds more like a song than a diss track, which is pathetic.

@@camronshean1758 I don't know much about the Milkbone one but the ICP "beef" comes from Em putting their name on a flyer and asking them to come to his show. 2:56 - Well, that's foreshadowing at its finest
Is there a video that goes into this? I'm a visual person and barely catching myself up on this beef😅
All MGK had to do was #1) Not call Ems 16 yr old daughter at the time hot af, #2) Apologize publically #3) Not poke the bear
Those three mistakes led to him being disgruntled at Eminem which it was his manager Paul who banned him from the Shady 45 (for not apologizing) and eventually poking the bear by dissing Em on his freestyle and Tech N9NE's track.
