- In March of 2010 Mojave Underground Inc and Underground Explorers searched for the missing April Beth Pitzer in the mines surrounding Barstow California.

I came across here as i was watching another video for the search of April. They did their own search but you guys really did a very intensive one.
Any murderer trying to get rid of a body, will simply dump it into an open shaft. I highly doubt they would go through all that work, to carry a body so far into an underground mine.
If those aren't her clothes, then whose are they? Who would take a car all the way out to the desert to throw it down a mine shaft? I fee like these people are uncovering half a dozen crime scenes searching for every one body they're looking for...

How do you keep yourselves safe from CO2? I have read that CO II will accumulate in an old mine shaft and, because it's colorless and odorless, you won't even know it's there until you pass out and die.
During a lifetime of exploring the desert, I have made a point of avoiding old mine shafts. They scare the daylights out of me! My hat is off to you!!!
Gas meter. CO2 is nontoxic but an asphyxiant (displaces oxygen). I carry an oxygen meter that alarms in the event oxygen levels get below 19.5% (~21% is normal).
I agree with drewbot78. some of those bone looked to me, to be human, although I'm no expert. The parties of interest were just doped up tweekers and I can't imagine that they went through too much trouble disposing of the body. If she is dead, she could be buried anywhere . I applaud the Mojave Underground and the Underground Explorers for their extensive efforts. Good job!
I highly doubt the killers took her down a shaft then drug her into a tunnel. They either dumped her in which case she will be at the bottom or they buried her.

I was so hoping they'd find April after I saw her case years ago. Pretty sad.

I've been following this case for several years and check back time to time hoping that April was found. I've been to this area surrounding Calico several times and always get strange eerie feelings and just know that place is not right. Stay strong Gloria, Keep fighting to find her! Thank god for these good folks that have been dedicated to her search.

I love to speak with April's mother do you know that every single person she came in contact with from the time she lost her hometown until she arrived in California was not a coincidence it was all set up every person had a job to do they need to start with the first person she was with the gentleman who moved her out to California
Do you have proof of that as a fact or is that your hunch? I totally agree with you btw. I was watching another video on here and a woman made a rude comment on her video and I picked a fight with her and she started talking about how she does drugs, how they should be legal and told me that anyone who snitches and a person loses their kids deserves death. I think this was definitely engineered by the woman who lost her kids. I did tell her that anyone who does drugs in front of their kids should have them taken away. She didn’t like that lol.

@@Toltecgrl It is sad that those people can't be relied on to help find April, but it isn't sad they're dead. Most of them appeared to be lowlife scumbags involved in illegal drug trade (not just the weed kind).
There were 3 graves on explore with us....i think they should check them...i mean think how easy just bury them move a grave marker

I don't think they could retrieve any from all the elements it was out in. That's what I heard anyway

What if they burned her remains? And just bluffed about the mines? Very possible. She might not be in any of these mines. She sadly might be ashes. Dan dan looked her mom in the eye after she had traveled all that way and still lied to her about killing April. He was a gutless coward.
Maybe I missed something but has anyone actually checked out the area where that posting on the bathroom wall said to go to find the missing woman?

I just ran across this missing person while researching some other stuff. I don't get why they would think that someone would carry a body into a cave like system. I know it's a mine shaft but now it's just a cave.
Mike Murphy because the main suspect in her disappearance owned the red dog mine out in that area, he has now died of cancer and the land is not private anymore people can freely search them
Candy Reese I was just mentioning the caves and how someone could carry a body in all of those narrow paths. I understand what you mean but that would be a lot of work. People are that evil though to take a body that far in.

Candy Reese yes it is very sad and very true. I don't see how someone can take another life,unless it's Self Defense or someone hurting a child. Here in Ms we have Open Carry and Concealed Carry without the need of a permit and I only carry for self defense, but I don't plan on killing them it's just to wound like shooting the leg. I don't think I could take someones life unless it's either me or them I can take care of one attacker but 2 or more is a different story. I do plan on stopping an attacker not killing then stay there and call 911. I know that either way I would see jail until my trial even shooting in the leg. I live in a very small town and grew up with most of the police our Chief of Police I have known since third grade and he knows I wouldn't flee town he only live a few blocks from me so I doubt I would go to jail just got to court.

@@leannemarkey2476 we don't know for sure all those writings were actually done by Dan-Dan. most of the old buildings out here have weird writings and sayings in them. i mean we've seen some really strange ones.
Just watched the Disappeared episode. It really pisses me off that April's mother is in overdrive trying to find her daughter's body. This mother didn't even raise her and it seems April had trouble managing her life, along with addictions and mental illness. That April ended up living in the desert with a bunch of disgusting, low-life creeps is sad. I feel for April. She had absolutely no support system, and that includes her so-called mother. RIP April.

There is a lesson here, don' t snitch. There are probably some cosmic forces working against anyone who thinks they are special enough to be able to commit crimes get caught for said crimes and then think they can just tell on enough people to dodge repercussions of their actions.
