My great grandfather was a Zoroastrian from a village in Yazd, he moved to India a 100 + years back and over time him and many others were absorbed by the Parsis (Zoroastrians of India). I often wondered what his home looked like, and how life was for him and my ancestors. This gives me a small idea of how it was. Thank you.
I met a Zarostrian Indian couple in Toronto, I was amazed that my culture traveled that far back then. They were both so classy and pure. I respected Indians more after that and we all need to keep our eyes open and get our head out of sand. People are just people. Love is all we need
I am a proud practising ZOROASTRIAN, my ancestors were from Persia(now Iran), had visited Yazd 15 years back so felt delighted seeing this video. Thanks!
@@kaydalal3 mam i am always curious to know , despite the zoroastian community of india being so wealthy & powerful , why didn't they tried to establish their own homeland ( just how Jews did) , atleast char bahar or bandar abbas
Zoroastrians refused to convert to islam, they were subject to impoverishing taxes, discrimination and lack of opportunities, thats why most of the moslems today in Iran converted. Those who still remain Zoroastrian, are some of the bravest people in Iran today and God Bless them for it
Parsi means Persian. Persian is the dominant ethnicity of Iran. The faith you are referring to is "Zoroastrianism". Zoroastrianism still has a lot of influence in Iran, and the language and Iranian New Year is based on it. Cheers.
Both my late parents were from a village which is less than 1 km from the village ( Mobrakeh ) which you are seeing in this video, by the name of " Cham " and there is a Holy Cyprus Tree which as per my knowledge is more than 1,500 years old and is the 2nd Oldest Cyprus Tree in Iran.
WOW those trees lit with pomegranates ❤️ are haunting me 😍 this is yet another interesting side of this beautiful country. Thank you for sharing Steiners. Enjoy and Stay Safe
I liked your old intro better especially the point where Oscar grinned. That was the highlight of the intro. That was a pure joyful smile that brought smile to everyone's faces.
Then why the majority of Iranians are islamic? Of course Iran is west asian. Remember it was Zoroastrian country before Muslims invaded in the time of Umar (632)
I am in New Zealand, If I was in Iran, they would take you to many places 😘👍👍Have fun and go somewhere ancient in Iran 👍👍Good luck and be happy, it was interesting😍😍

Their temples were also destroyed to build the mosques. Another form of mafiaism.
Muslims destroyed many civilizations in world.
Truly God bless them

Thanks again for your very kind comment Janice 🥰
Those trees are truly breath taking.Pure red and ruby colour inside with a heavenly taste with some Golpar erbs .
They consume pomegranates or Anar a lot ...raw, juice , cooking....
. So their skin speaks...
Very beautiful, the place , the family and specially clever kids .
As always, great video. Thank you for this.
