I've never tasted treacle. Your most well done video makes me want to try it though. I'll have a look on amazon, they probably have it. I did find the suet you use for some of your pastry crusts on amazon and after reading about it, I can see why I couldn't substitute the suet for lard. Way different things. My confusion over the suet/lard is an american thing as we use those terms interchangeably, at least where I live. Where I live is all rural farm country with many old timers, I grew up being taught lard & suet were the same thing. But thanks to you, I now know they're different. I definitely want to try this pudding, it looks so good. There's something endearing to me about English puddings... if that makes sense. I wish we did them here in the US. Also watch out for bad weather heading your way. We got almost a foot of snow and ice on top of that yesterday and now the winds are picking up and it's drifting. Hopefully the storm will break up over the Atlantic and you won't be bothered with it. In the meantime, thanks for another great recipe, stay warm & safe.
