Oooh! I was there! At this very same gig in L' Olympia, Paris. Recently arrived in Paris from Spain. I saw a poster on the street, so I went straight to buy my ticket. Arrived a few minutes late and didn't read all the info in the poster (my english then was quite primitive!), so I enjoyed a lot the first band, but didn't know who they were... Until today! when I've just read Mr. Fiske entry saying that they were using Arcadium's gear. So... I had seen Arcadium, a legend today, playing live and I haven't known this for about 50 years!!! I stayed in Paris a few months, then up to Denmark, where, by the way, I did see Alrune Rod playing live (it's only that I didn't know then who they were yet!) Different times indeed. You travelled hitch-hicking and, wherever you arrived, you looked for long haired people an that was all. You made friends instantly. Today you could not even dream about something like this. Oh, how times change... an we do too with it... Anyway, such a great night with Arcadium and East of Eden in Paris, 1970! ;)
Pure music and free from the fake emotional energy that was around to n the late 60s. I followed them since they first started and bought their albums. I was just a kid in Libya back then..
Is this the same concert from the early Yes footage where they play "Beyond and Before"? I do remember in that video the announcers mention East of Eden.

What a performance. WEird how they seem so superior to the '69 vid also here. Is the guitarist different? And the horns guy seems much better.
It's David Jack on guitar & vocals.
Bődületesen nagy mutatvány!
whats the name of the first song?
Moth
