The demons he carried after his mom dropped him off at a children’s home and never came back haunted him until adult age. The drug was his peace because foster care failed him as a child. Under all the drug use and bad habits, he still was able to find the Lord before he departed.

What is he correct about? What was his purpose? We all know that he battled with drugs. It was no secret! No one wants to be a drug addict! He was still a human being that needed to be love. If he really understand what being an addict is he would never say the things he is saying. He said his aunt was on drugs for forty years then he should know that it was only the grace of GOD that she is still here. It was nothing she done. The forty years that she abused drugs, she could have died as well. But GOD chose otherwise! Believe that! We all have struggles some of us over come them and some us don't. We don't have the authority to judge anyone because we all sit in the same seat. We will be judge by GOD but we don't have the authority to judge others. DMX was damaged way before he was addicted to drugs. He was another statistics where society failed to meet his needs as a human being. We are like flowers. In order for us to grow into productive human beings we need to be nurtured and loved. He got neither! He was neglected and abused and thrown to the wolves. It's a lot of DMX'S out here that will die before the world and will be considered failures it they don't get the proper nourishment they need to become productive citizens in the world. The comparison he made about people that used to rape people crazy. What he doesn't understand is that we are in a spiritual warfare all of us. What happened to DMX could of happened to any of us. But most people are missing it! He died before the world fighting a spiritual battle! It had nothing to do with any Masters! Most of us will die broke and have nothing to leave to our children! But GOD! Being in a right relationship with GOD is the most important thing we can have and offer our children today. Again, if his children pay attention to his life struggles before the drugs; he was abused and neglected and needed help long long time ago, forgive as he did, and depend on GOD they will be okay. Them trusting and depending on GOD is more important than any masters. We got to do better!

You can hear Charleston and realize he is telling the truth man. Because I would rather have my Dad be a Dad than be a superstar rapper never around us always getting high. I know what it's like for a father to leave and not raise you. So it made me feel like those kids when he said that.

Different generations were taught to address situations differently. Again, we are speaking about a man who endured childhood trauma starting with his momma abusing him and dropping him off and never returning to get him. A system that failed him whom exactly is he suppose to obtain guidance and love, and all the necessary skills to deal with life from? Look at his environment...what out did he have other than the streets? His guidance was the streets and the low life bum who laced weed and gave it to him at 13/14 yr old. He is a child. No matter what he was doing to survive. He still was a child ...BOTTOMLINE!
Surrounded by wolves in sheeps clothing who used him to make money off him and kept him high.
No one will know what this man was feeling. Not having a parent or parents is a void no one will NEVER understand. It's like chasing after something that will never exist. And this trauma follows you through life!!!! There is NO amount of help nor therapy that can help you. And I'm speaking facts!!!
He has many children ..maybe that was his means of filling that void with a love he was never given.
Everyone so quick to condemn DMX. Unless you walked in his shoes it's not our job to judge anyone for we will NEVER KNOW.
PLUS BACK THEN..DEF JAM, COLUMBIA RECORDS, BAD BOYS ENTERTAINMENT AND EVEN BACK TO THE GREEN EYE BOOTY BANDIT..... they ALL were about baiting artist who were hot at that time and would make the record labels money..and would make excuses as to why you werent getting paid like they were when records, cassettes ect were being played back to back. Many talented artists were ROBBED. AND DMX was a easy target.... great, and skilled, talented and unique. Easy to take from him for they kept him addicted.
Some people are fortunate to overcome trauma and some are not. Seems his pain was a pain he couldn't shake. Being abused and abandoned by someone who is suppose to love, and protect, and set a foundation for you ...is not a easy pill to swallow no matter how old you are!!!!!

Rather than uplift, we hate on one another, kill each other over senseless things, disrespect one another..ect..

FR its crazy how we all grow up around ppl smoking weed sayin its not addictive, i feel like compared to heron or alcohol etc its not but ive smoked since 16 and when i wanted to get healthier and work out i decided to quit at 22 just a tolerance break but because i couldnt make it past a week multiple times trying that woke me up, it took me a few months of trying before i got a whole year... i love smoking an do now off and on at 31 but whats even wilder, get ready for it...
we grew on all that DARE shit, right? they told me in the 5th, cops came it and was like this is crack cocaine, one hit and you will be addicted for rest of your life, sell all your stuff just for a hit... we were like oh my god im never doing crack or any of the drugs they told us about. couple years ago well during covid, i started experimenting cuz i was so damn bored, i got some LSD, molly, cocaine, meth, all at different times or some together but just wanted to try them out and see what all the hype was about cuz fuck it we might die tomorrow lol... bruh coke!!! that shit was nothing compared to quitting weed, yeah i hadnt been doing it for years but you would think i was fiending for coke when i was trying to quit weed i would pace around the house couldnt do anything cuz i reminded me of smoking, music, tv shows, food, shit i couldnt even sleep... i bought maybe 3/4 8balls over the course of a couple months, during one of the times i was about to reup the dude had run out and i had to wait like a week... i had been doing coke everyday off that 8ball EVERYDAY like morning to night coke head shit. ppl gonna think im making this up but i swear it honestly shocked me at how little i went thru withdrawl... and really i think most of it was mental thinking it was gonna get worse but it made me realize that ppl like those cops or others who claim shit about drugs but never done them, you cant take their word cuz they just retelling what some other person who probably never done it before heard.
im not advocating ppl go out and do coke, and really it dont matter what "drug" you do, its called getting HIGH same shit ppl feel when they fat af and eat all day is same thing ppl feel when they do coke, weed, etc... you just getting that dopamine flood. to anyone who has wanted to try coke tho, dont worry about the comedown or eventually withdrawl if you wanna get a ball for a party or something cuz you would be hella surprised at how normal you feel the next day when its all gone, like i said up there i honestly feel like it was in my head just wanting to do more coke cause i was planning on getting more and couldnt, when i eventually decided to stop it just stopped and that was it, i get cravings like i do for all drugs when the time comes and i want it but i never once thought about selling my car or possesions for a bag when i was fiending, i didnt even go looking for another source even though i knew i could find one... i just said fuck it and waited for dude to reup... shit still kinda blows my mind at how much harder weed was.

I loved DMX and don’t look down on him for the struggles he battled but the reality is, those who were close to him in his life, his children, his family, they did suffer in many ways and there’s no changing that. Drugs and what it does creates suffering. His fans didn’t suffer but his people, they certainly did.

No matter anybody say about DMX, he was one of the greatest to ever do it. Think about all the great music artists we had/have..most of them either dealt a addiction or some other personal issues. God uses people for different reasons. RIP Earol Simmons/DMX 🙏🏾🙏🏾💯💯💪🏾💪🏾

Be real now.. wasn't nobody speaking on DMX until his death. He probably helped a few with his music but to save someone with it is just a fictional statement. Just honor who he was and keep it real. He was a living example of what the hood is going through. We fighting demons in the hood, he was also fighting demons.
