Yes! My son went to prison at 20 years old and I was petrified. I was so afraid for him. But at the same time I was so happy that I knew where he was at because I was just waiting on a phone call. I have been preparing myself for that phone call. Prison save my son‘s life. Now all he do is work and take care of his family. He’s like an old man now. He don’t want to be in the cities no more. Had five DUIs in 4 years, got sentenced to 5 years did two and a half in and got out and stop smoking cigarettes, weed, drinking alcohol and became a preacher got married after only doing two and a half years now he's living his best life. Yes! My son went to prison at 20 years old and I was petrified. I was so afraid for him. But at the same time I was so happy that I knew where he was at because I was just waiting on a phone call. I have been preparing myself for that phone call. Prison save my son‘s life. Now all he do is work and take care of his family. He’s like an old man now. He don’t want to be in the cities no more. He don’t hang out no more past 10 PM. Thank you Jesus.

Redemption is there for people who see the fault in their ways, and in saying that, I believe most people deserve a chance to redeem themselves. Unfortunately, some never get that chance because all you have to do is be in the wrong place at the wrong time. All I'm saying is that something has to be done to discourage our youth from choosing the path that Von and so many other youths have chosen. I have 2 teenage nephews who wanna be thugs and I have to do something to get them to choose a better path before it's too late.

Single mother household, lived in the projects until I was an adult, and listened to murder music(and still do). I didn't try to live the music and chose to obey the law. Most of my dudes I grew up with are either dead and or are/were in jail.

Had he been in jail he would’ve lasted a lil longer. Had another friend who was supposed to be in prison but bc she had served in the military they just gave her 5 year probation. She got killed her 5th year being on probation, just a few months before being set free. So yeah I’ve seen it personally some people do need that jail time to really correct themselves. When they get slaps on the wrists, they don’t learn and end up getting in worse situations.

I use to be a fan of King Von and other drill rappers, but after having my daughter I started to look at the world different and it opened my eyes to the type of music I was listening to and now I can’t listen to that ish no more, everytime King Von come on I skip it.
