I’m trying to find out if this the the song that was played by Rowland Emetts cats cradle pussiwillow lll clock mechanical sculpture that was in east gate shopping centre in Basildon, Essex a good 35 years ago, it certainly sounds like it but it was a long time ago, You play it so well and I have a feeling it could be the song, thanks for uploading 🙂
Interestingly, this is the piece (2eme gigue en rondeua) played at his clock at the Victoria Centre in Nottingham. Would be great to understand what the link is to Basildon! I firtrs heard this music at the clock in Nottingham over 35 years ago....so we may be on the same journey!
@@Tercio16 I did manage to contact one of the guys responsible for restoring these clocks and he did say he would try to find the original music played by the clock at Basildon when it was fully functional, now sadly it’s a static , half version of its proud, former self but I managed to find one original picture and even a video but sadly no audio and to be honest I was so young when I used to go shopping with my mum and spent time around that amazing clock I probably wouldn’t remember the music.
@@ARCEYE78 a family member saw this clock in Basildon but was too young to remember it similarily. Someone must have the details and know. Have you tried the local newspaper to ask/tried twitter? I asked Victoria centre about the music and they did not know. I happened to be listening (influence?) to Rameau and stumbled upon it....Good luck on your hunt!
@@ARCEYE78 Hi - I contacted someone who was involved in the restoration of the Victoria Centre clock and he said it may have been Haydns 13th Symphony played by the Basildon clock? I wonder if you listen will you recognise it?
Nicely keyed, Sir!
Perfect 🙏👏👏👏👏👏
