To add on to this: Once the field crosses the line for the start of the white flag lap, no yellow flags are EVER to be waved. There have been instances where a wreck starts right before the white flag lap, and Ben calls a yellow then which leads to overtime. During overtime, any yellows on the first lap would lead to another overtime session, but once the white flag lap has started, that lap is the definitive end of the race regardless of how many wrecks occur afterwrd.
@Tunda2 yeah Mooncar rules are extremely unique and designed to maximize the competition level. In concert with the yellow flag rules: 1. During yellow flags, drivers a lap or more down can make up the laps they are behind by driving full speed on the high side of the track until one to go for green 2. Drivers are given one reset they can use at any time during the race. This primarily serves to guarantee that an early race wreck does not end someone's day (and drivers have won on numerous occasions after flipping earlier in the event)

iRacings bad race control that desperately needs an update/revision to fix the issues.
