Cooling, Delicious Summer Recipe: Lauki Raita, Cooling Home Remedy

Lauki or Bottle gourd is often not favoured by many, but this raita can change the opinion of most. It is perfect for hot summer days with a pulao, khichdi, paratha or anything at all. This is a recipe from Uttar Pradesh/ UP.
Ingredients
Grated Lauki - 1 cup
Curd - 1.5 cups
Water - 1/2 cup
Mustard oil - 1 tsp
1 dry red chilli
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Hing - 1 pinch
Salt to taste
Black salt - 1/2 tsp
Roasted cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder, black pepper powder to taste
