I don't think anyone was more distinctive the Ray Charles. Happy I got to see him live once in the 1990s. Deeply appreciate your posting this.
Love the man. Saw him 5 times in concert. Even met him briefly in the dressing rooms at the Free Trade Hall Manchester UK. Ah memories.
That’s crazy!!
Real Genius. What a joy it is to hear and watch Ray Charles sing and play.
Ok i
When Ray opens up with Good Times Roll it becomes plain as day.........he's the best we ever had. Miss you and love you Ray . You remain my hero.
One of the best performances in the history of the world and less than 10,000 views..... Harumph......We're doomed.......
The second song .......Georgia.....remains the greatest popular song ever !!!!!
Unforgettable!!!!! I was on HIs Moscow's concert with my Mom and my daughters in 2002 , Unforgettable!!!!!!!! RIP.....
Listen to the original version of Oh What A Beautiful Morning....then listen to Ray's
That's why they call him a genius
There's a musical pyramid and Ray sits at the apex
grande genius
I love it at all.
she knows...straordinaria
Alas, after 1965, the powerful, incredible talent of Ray Charles ceased to surprise and shock, as in the late 50s and early 60s of the last century. His work became a brooding Maine stream. Ray Charles before 1965 and after 1965 are very different people.
You’re a moron. Just a tip, obviously don’t start a comment with “alas”…and that’s obvious! 😃
Also, “Maine stream” ya know?
he kicked heroin in 65
