As someone that lives permanently disabled because of someone else is doing take it easy, don't just jump back into it even though a doctor says it's OK. Take it, eat, don't put yourself in a situation that there's no coming back from..

I collected stickers for years but never wanted to put them on any of my rigs because I go through them so fast. I finally decided to put them on my toolbox because it doesn't change as often as my vehicles do. Yeah, I know it's old school but so am I.

I would wear the brace while doing things in the shop and anything like that. I would leave it off doing normal things in life. Slowly start taking the brace off when working in the shop. I'm a professional automotive technician and I know how it is wanting to get rid of the brace. All it takes is one little thing like a tip and fall or something like that and you are back to square one and now it's twice as long to heal.

    Recovery is an unknown road.
Some parts are smooth and quick, others are slow and challenging.
Stay the course and do as you are told.
Once the back goes bad the outlook is not that good.

I delighted that you have made it this far through your recovery. As an old pro motorcycle racer I can tell you that the PT is critical! Once upon a time I thought that I didn’t need to do the PT. I was so wrong. Because of my uninformed decision to forgo the PT I had to go back into surgery to rebuild my left shoulder again. Good luck with your recovery. Kindest Regards, Al

Take it slow and easy, i know how easy it is to want to go 110% after a injury but slow and steady wins that race... As for race... Next build should be Walters Prerunner/mild crawler rig.. it can double as a chase truck for Nessi and all around fun rig for Walter. Will come in handy at KOH.

Please my lovely, keep the positive outlook! I prey for you and I have been in your position. I blew my back out at the age of 29 in a car wreck. I had a surgery and was better. Then another car wreck a couple of years later and blew out a different disk, yeah! Non of these wrecks were my fault! This is my story, yours will be different, but it took 6 surgeries and for the last 15yrs no pain! Keep remembering this is temporary, it will change, yes it’s a struggle, but in the end you will come out of it whole and you will be stronger, and an example for your family and friends. I love what you do and will constantly pray for you and yours! A little scotch help as well….. cheers

No one can imagine the pain and discomfort with a back injury unless they have had one. My best wishes go out to you Holly, be sensible and go easy for a good many months. I was unfortunate to have a back injury when I was 38, now 73 and not worked since. Spinal compression injuries like yours and mine can have different effects, I prolapsed 2 discs and fractured the vertebrae from top to bottom so was in traction for many months.Tragically back injuries can lead to many more complications and ruin a person's life. So take care get fully fit before you do all in wrestling lol.

Thank God, you are doing much better! I know I’m not the only one that was so worried about you and about you taking the brace off. I call at your oyster shell. Lol 😂.
Yes, you are going to tire out sooner than you think and also be sore. Because with the brace on, it kept you from using certain muscles that you’re now using with it off…
I had an uncle that had a serious back injury and he had to wear a very, very similar TYPE-BACK-BRACE….
For several weeks and he went through the same thing that you’re now going through. Down in Pensacola Florida.
Your dog looks so cute with his head sticking out, Up-top!! he reminded me of their dog Royce, doing the same thing from their upstairs bedroom.
They had a bedroom that you could overlook the entire living room and den. They had a big house at that time about 7800 ft.². SQUARE FEET.
Because Uncle Anthony and Aunt Quepadean had 4 kids. 2 boys 2 girls. And, the girls slept 🛌/upstairs with there own upstairs bathroom 🛏️ 😊

But,,, a group of my friends were hanging around one night talking about you, the discussion was would you have a really cool design airbrushed on your brace before you got to remove it, one of my buddies and I bet you would everyone else said you wouldn't. As we can see my one buddy and I lost 😢😥😢😢😭😭😭😭😭😭. It was in great fun and the wager was whom ever lost has to buy everyone else ONE can of soda so it looks my buddy and I will have to buy a whopping 5 cans of soda a piece. 😄😁😃😀🙂🙂🙂 it was all in fun and we are all SUPER happy to see you healing up and out of the brace. 😊😊😊
