Good call removing the battery. I had my 11 year old son with much smaller hands poke my power wire through. 2024 trucks are a little different. Wish I’d removed my battery and done it my self. I’m not 100% sure my boy went through the exact correct spot but he got it through one way or another.
awesome want to get it for my wife's 2023 silverado 1500 LT , she doesn't have the boses sound system so this should help, glad to hear u say its worth it... I probably will pay the dealer the $137 to install it for me lol
I guess I'd say it louder... but just because you can hear the bass more from outside? It's a subwoofer, so it makes the bass louder, but not anything else.
I have a question for anyone reading. The input is getting tapped into from the left speaker. Is this giving full bass or is there bass comming from the right speaker that the amp is not getting? Is it missing a full sound? I have just got this sub installed and it seam like some songs are not getting that full bass all the way thru a song. If I tapped the wires from the left positive and the right positive going to the input on the amp would this be safe? Ultimately bridging the channels.
If you unhook the the amplifier only which is only 4 screws… move the gain levels on the “equalizer” all the way up. The equalizer is hidden under a piece of rubber that looks like a black tape. Remove it and move the levels all the up and you will the true power of that sub. I keep mines at half because it shakes my car.
I have the same setup but I’m running into an issue with the sub not working while the truck is running. Works great when I’m in accessory mode and motor is off. Any suggestions on what might be causing this issue?
You need to put the amplifier levels switches up except the 6 dip switch all of them are located under the amp which you will have to unscrew it from sub box
Who doesn’t like more bottom end!!!! Yeah baby! Yeah!!
You know that’s right!

Thanks 🙏 for the video..
How does the clip that you have to splice into come out of the harness??
Did you upgrade the factory speakers or simply add the sub and Amp
I wonder how many times that couch has had CHEESE PUT ON IT? 🤣
I laughed at this. A lot.

Did it make the stereo louder?

I felt like i did added a bit of boost to my bose system. The bass tho… it went from 0-100 quick

No. That wont work. I can't tell you why it doesn't sound right. Mine works great.

I did not have any issue like that.
Your battery might need to be replaced
You have your turn on amp wire hooked to accessory power?
Anyone having issues with bass being low? Have the kicker knob but bass is very low with it turned all the way up
I have a very good amount of bass from mine.
You need to put the amplifier levels switches up except the 6 dip switch all of them are located under the amp which you will have to unscrew it from sub box
Make sure you flip the amp switches up
I saw someone do that in another video but they didn't explain why. What does that do?
@@ChrisGriffithCrimeAuthor Makes the sub a lot louder
