I have seen the video twice, and im planning to watch it again, so true about the common mistakes, but in Florida you get desperate to catch waves, so I think that's why there are so many mistakes.
Thanks Carlos, stoked you like it.
I’m going to start surfing on a 7 10 NSP mini mal in central FL. Can’t wait for this years surf.
super helpful tips and observations. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful! If you like SurfAllDayA1A you are going to love my music channel @JediJingleMaker, please check it out and subscribe, leave a comment you heard about it here. Check out my new original song,1 each week, Florida Original Music (FOM). I usually am fairly guitar centric, however in this track I play with some more techno and classical instrument elements ua-cam.com/video/dgoY5oWBLFA/v-deo.html
Good stuff right here new subscriber earned
Welcome aboard! Stoked for the sub, thanks.
On that first wavy went the other direction because the other surfer was in his way

In my opinion...the right was no better. I watched it several times. It closed out...did not peal like you described.

Awesome video! We just moved to Florida! What’s the best board in your opinion, for a not very experienced surfer? If they could only have one board?
Might sound crazy, but my favorite all around board was a 7' fun board from Ron Jon Surf shop. I had 2 other boards from quiet flight but for the majority of Florida waves, the Ron Jon board was my favorite and its the one my friends would ride when they visited from the Midwest because it was pretty thick and stable and easy to catch waves and balance. I became pretty good after a few years and began to prefer my other short boards in good waves but still lived taking out the RJ
@@stevenwilson8718 Thank you so much! I’ll check out the Ron Jon boards 😀 so far we have a foam board from costco, but that’s it haha
I would get a larger shortboard, some folks call them cheater boards. Wider, thicker, easy to catch waves.
Agree!
@@SurfAllDayA1A Even after years of surfing, I still grabbed the Ron Jon board when the waves were weak or if I just felt a little tired from work or something but still wanted to paddle out. Almost all their boards are wider and thicker than the "real" brand name boards. Plus, I worked there at the time and got a nice discount. Lol. Just so effortless to catch mushy waves much like a long board but so much easier to turn. I remember sitting out the back with the dawn patrol long boarders at 2nd light catching the same waves as them. As a local at the time, I did get a little made fun of by some friends as Ron Jon's is a no no for locals, but I could tell they were jealous every time they missed a wave and I got it!
