Years ago, when i did the t top channels on my 80 regal, I went with the soffseal brand weatherstripping kit, and I had zero fitment issues with it. My drivetrain is very similar to what you have, an 8.5" rear end, 3.42 gears, a Yukon locker, with a 200 4R trans. Only difference is i got my trans from an 88 Cadillac Brougham with an olds 307 bc i needed the Buick, Olds, Pontiac bellhousing bc my engine is a 69 Buick 350. The mileage on the highway is more than acceptable for the torque that engine makes.

Michael your is starting to look to tip top working place I’m starting to get jealous cause I used to have a 24x28 garage with me my dad rebuilt my 1968 Plymouth fury II two door it blue bottom and the roof was painted corvette white but one thing I regret not doing was gravel guard it too look like a vinyl top which this was not all in all it was my daily driver in high school and to work afterwards!

Hi Mike, I was very sick for over 3 weeks! I had a lot of trouble breathing, it turned out to be allergies from cats and horses! Plus I started riding my e-bike 35 miles a week 13 months....I feel a lot better @61 year's old and 249 pounds vs.309 pounds 2 years ago!!!! I will pray for both our families!!!!😊😁🦸🙏🙌

Great update! Looking forward to seeing El Caballero running! I agree with the weather work shift. I still have a day job, so I'm limited in working mid-afternoon, or later into the evening, but I hear you on not being able to work in the heat of the day. Maybe our new floor will provide a cooler working space for me!

It does, most of the original wiring in the trans does. As long as it isn’t shorting out it will not be a problem.
