Happy Birthday!!🎉🎉🎉 I will be 44 this fall, but 40 was much easier than 30 for me and I am grateful for my growth in the past 14 years! You have a way of convincing me I NEED a pattern even if I don't think I do. I love your sleeveless version, but both are great. I could see both working for my job teaching preschool, regardless I have to wear leggings (either capri or full length) under for my current job. I do love the detail of the back waist seam for the dress. Again, may you have the happiest of birthdays and I do hope that your husband treats you to something nice!

Very helpful video regarding the pocket area! A lot of people might struggle with this. Another channel has a video on this dress, too, but it was a small snippet about the neckline and sleeve ruching, and mostly talking about colors. However, that wouldn’t be a problem for most people. Those pocket and waist seams would be very tricky though. I’ll use your link to buy this pattern because of the helpful tutorial. Happy Birthday, Karina!
