    Dear Mr. Sinjab,
    Two questions:
    - case 3 with -6/-2/180. Why don't you consider the effect of the -2 astigmatism on the K readings?
    - case 4 with -2/+3/180. According to your part 3 of "Understanding Corneal Refraction", section "ablation depth and K-reading correction", one should use the + equation, apply the plus on the flat K, then apply the minus on both Ks. Why proceed in a different way in this clinical example?
    Best regards and many thanks.

Hi dr. mazen thank you very much for this useful videos, but I have the same question of dr. carla which has written down in comments:
in case 4 with -2/+3/180. According to your part 3 of "Understanding Corneal Refraction", section "ablation depth and K-reading correction", one should use the + equation, apply the plus on the flat K, then apply the minus on both Ks. Why proceed in a different way in this clinical example?

First i would thank you Dr sinjab for this work...its mazing..
i wnat to ask something althoug, in the hyperopic profile of lasik, you see that tah ablation depth was =0, why did you proceeded into calculation PTA, what if PTA was ok with this Zero adpation...!! what you would do..!!!?

+ahmed lubbad Thank you for watching the video. In zero central ablation the PTA will be affected by the central thickness and flap thickness, so if the surgeon uses a thick flap in a thin cornea, the PTA will be high.

I usually do not correct any hyperopia by PRK
