It's a good feeling to relocate to a country you love and hopefully retire in it. I'm heading that way too, but I'm not planning to migrate to another country, but to another state within Malaysia.
Welcome back to KL Darren. -Good luck with your nomad pass application but I am surprised it is taking so long to process compared to the speed you took to pass the immigration at KLIA-!

Welcome back to KL, Malaysia. Hope that you will have a good time and also a pleasant stay while patiently waiting for your nomad visa application for approval. All the best.
Wow. The lake area looks so much different, the water used to be clear and blue. I used to build a shed by the lake when I was a kid, lived nearby with my late parents on Jalan U'Thant, off Jalan Ampang Hilir, off Jalan Ampang. I wonder if the polo club with horses stable is still around the area near another different lake.
I’ve never been able to find a remote job but I have saved and invested for so long I will be easily able to live off my dividends and interest. Do you still keep a UK property / address for logistical reasons, such as banking, whilst you travel or live abroad ? Thanks for the videos, I do like your channel.
I have a UK address for tax, residential, medical, and banking purposes. While my tax situation will change if I get the visa, I will still keep the address for banking. If everything is approved, I hope to apply for a Malaysian bank account. I will have to register to pay taxes in Malaysia and sort out our medical side of things with insurance, registering with a doctor, etc. I will talk about all this in upcoming videos.
I have a follow up question (maybe you can answer in the video). Does the UK address have to come from owning a property, or is there another way of doing so. So that you could rent out the UK property, and travel / live abroad.
