This episode's hydraulics are like a Training Trap. Your manager sees there is something you hate doing, avoiding, and getting little experience. So he assigned you training in that thing you hate and you become proficient against your will. Now that you are proficient, he assigns you more tasks in that think you hate more than before. The real world Trap ends when your manager is surprised that you found another job when he increased your skills and workload but not your pay.
11:22 they even put RCE beside the bridge :) Not clear how they managed to make the environment get cold then warm again, I mean there is some tightening and loosening going on there...
I imagine when that truck just disregarded the destroyed bridge and drove right off the edge it really brought back fond memories of when you were a civil engineer dealing with common sense of the general public.
@@deadrabbit6762 or a host of others, I haven't seen Frost punk or StarTopia in his video list(the original is better but so old...) but he's played the mix of the two: Ixion.... and Frost punk is brutally hard. Perfect for someone with a background in one of the engineering types involved in city planning, got to know if you really need a bridge there after all.
Note: After finishing the classic campaign, I’d recommend continuing with the PB2 campaign to help improve your skill but do note, the campaign for PB2 gets ridiculously hard in world 5 and world 6 (secret world) and even worse for the challenge version.
00:44 i just love that the meme "are you winning son?" makes me rhyme with the game of thrones part that came before and the Matt is just looking at me like "You know that this rhymes perfectly"
Christmas is a rough time for me after my wife passed away just a few weeks for Christmas in 2020. Your videos always bring a smile, and so it did again during this Christmas. Thank you so much for that. I am not someone that really cars about "special" things youtubers do for their vids, but I have to admit that some of your content wouldn't be the same without your singing intro (Especially, but not limited to, TImberborners of course) Thank you RCE for another year of great, fun content. I hope you had an awesome Christmas, That you will have a great and safe New Years Eve and I wish you all the best for 2023
What do you mean you wish your dog could help with engineering problems? Isnt their job to help with the biggest problem of engineering? Chasing architects and their terrible designs away!
Underated Patty moment. Patty helps by biting architects for biscuits. It is more than most interns, but you have to compensate for chasing them trough their glass floors.
Happy Boxing Day, RCE and Co.! Hopefully RCE made a nice bundle for his editing slav-- buddies! They deserve it for listening to and editing the GoT cover intro
i don’t know if you’ve done it already but you should do a video where you try to make the most expensive design for a couple levels! it would be fun to see what you come up with!
What you need to do, Matt, is aim for the last page. Whatever map you want; but make it so you wind up on the last page. Ideally, the last entry on the last page. I believe in you.
You know, for those rotating hydraulicy bits, it isn't actually a sin to press that button on your calculator. And, you've probably plenty of other reasons to be damned anyway. ;D Always fun, thanks.
That first level, is a textbook example of "Value engineering". The engineer makes a robust design with plenty of safety factor. Then the architects and owners come in complaining about budget and the engineer is forced to change his design and make a cheaper but much less robust design. Value engineering is one of the great evils of this world.

That singing part was so lovely. I really enjoyed it
More guitars, less singing. 🤣🤘

I feel like any newcomer to this channel would probably see the rest of us as a cult, I’d agree
"It's what one person wanted" only because the rest of us didn't know we needed it 🤣 I'm now expecting a singing intro for all games
So say we all 👌
At about 5:00 a civil engineer discovers mechanical engineering. A truly magical moment.

The best intro so far 🙌🏻😂
honestly that's true =D
i couldn't stop laughing for about a minute
Still surprised you haven't played Space Engineers! Like seriously it's right in the name!
right? i have been thinking about that for a very long time!!
Spaceflight simulator as well

My one year old loved the intro. She wouldn’t stop dancing.
"Anyway if you're still here" lolololol great intro :D
we honestly need RCE to make a collection of all of his singing intros
He can sell it along with all his other merch. Genius!
What do you mean you wish your dog could help with engineering problems?
Isnt their job to help with the biggest problem of engineering? Chasing architects and their terrible designs away!
My favorite intros are your silly ones and the timber born once keep doing them 🤣😂
BEST ENTRO BRO not being sarcastic totly
Underated Patty moment.
Patty helps by biting architects for biscuits. It is more than most interns, but you have to compensate for chasing them trough their glass floors.
Love the effort Shmicheal puts into the intros lol
Happy Boxing Day, RCE and Co.! Hopefully RCE made a nice bundle for his editing slav-- buddies! They deserve it for listening to and editing the GoT cover intro
I always love watching you play poly bridge :)
That into is great!!! That's now the official intro for Polybridge!
Oooowee, Matt's getting confident with the hydraulics!! Good on ya mate!!
Not sure why you're apologizing, the people wanted it and you delivered. Also the singing intro was amazing 7/10
10:20 the blue car does move and it will make it, it just needs more time 😮💨
21:02 It's like a h a l f c h u b, so still in the spirit of your channel... lol
When you asked for a short truss, I wanted to yell out '49 days!' 😂
RCE, 13:56.. you really missed the shape you made? Your losing your touch! Haha
RCE singing is something we never wanted, but timberborn has made it a necessity!
The bridge at 11:33 was made on my bday! Crazy
love this intro :) but the rap was pretty cool too
The fact that Mat didn't infect the first level is a huge milestone
It's something quite special to see a REAL CIVIL ENGINEER celebrate having the ability to build video game bridges.
He engineered the perfect lyrics!
Theres no stopping him!
That intro was pure gold. I would listen to that on spotify.
So many different solutions. People are so creative!
Absolute legend - Love how these intros slowly got more and more popular and now they're in almost every one 😅
I'm pretty sure Tower Bridge is the inspiration for the Twins in Game of Thrones, so the intro is spot on
😂 i love your version of GOT song 😂
I need that song as my alarm in the morning. Absolutely beautiful music.
Love all of Matt's content but I still love the Poly Bridge 2 content the best.
I actually enjoyed the intro!😂
I want a full song of it.
Maybe at the 2 mil?
cant wait to watch Game Of Bridges on HBO
They will just fuck it up in the last season like GOT.
yea, anyway i'm more of a Lord Of The Bridges fan, think amazon did pretty well with the Bridge of power series
You think Breaking Bridges will have a good third season?
I just rewatched that singing into 3 times life is good
I love poly bridge videos, pls never stop 😭
Major respect to all RCE editors for putting up with repeatedly listening to RCE singing Intros
that intro was absolutely beautiful
13:55 Matt just made the strongest shape and didn't realize it
Matt you're slipping mate
RCE: *sees hot air balloon*
Also RCE: Can I go over it?
I love the game of thrones intro!!!
Matt: "im not very good with hydraulics"
Me: *laughs in mechanical engineer*
Best song, could literally listen it every day XD
13:58 we’re gonna be in a good place
I love the effort in the song intro. Well done!!!!

10:20 it did move forward, if you had waited longer it would probably have worked.
5:24 Late-stage capitalism: "This bridge is too safe. How can we save money?"
I’ve spoken to the people and they demand Paddy to be featured in the next singing intro!!!!
7:20 a bridge clearly made by an architect, with how it is style over efficiency with the two towers, and rce loves it
8:20 notice how it's the only page without knob🤣
10:24 noooooo wait a little longer!!!
Man that was awesome. Singing that make my day thanks bro ✌
I heard that architects have been secretly getting engineering degrees and positions for years. It's a scary brave new world
that intro was acually impressive
Architectures are taking over Mat. He is appreciating the work of architects.
That intro is fire!

A singing intro for every video?
Yes
Yesss just what i need right now, sit back and watch an RCE video after a 5 hour snowboarding session
The intro on it's own was already worthy of a thumbs up.
That’s exactly when I hit the button 😂
