Budget’s Customs Duty Exemption Just A Start, More Needed To Make Cancer Treatment Affordable | N18V

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, during the union budget presented last Saturday, announced steps taken to provide better support to people suffering from rare health conditions, particularly cancer. Sitharaman has announced the addition of 36 lifesaving drugs to a list where drugs are fully exempt from basic customs duty. This list includes several oncology drugs. Besides
