- Cavite is a treasure trove of rich gastronomic finds. One of which is the "Bibingkoy", a delicacy made of glutinous rice dumplings filled with sweetened boiled monggo beans, that you can only find in the city.

I like the attitude of aling lolit. Ganun din ako pagtrabaho dapat maayos.. yun kasi problema sa mga kabataan ngayon trabahong loko kundi mo papansinin hindi aayusin ang trabaho nila.
Naabutan ko pa sa lumang palengke namin dto sa cavite ang lumang carihan ni aling ika... ngayon 50 years old na ako at matatag na matatag pa din... BIBINGKOY is caviteños/chabacanos pride... never pa nag iba ang lasa nito sa tinagal tagal ng panahon... ❤❤❤... hats off to this documentary... and to Mr. Ige Ramos... well done...👏👏👏

Lillian Borromeo is like the Living Archive of Capampangan Dishes. The thing that strikes me the most about her is that she can measure baking ingredients only by touch and by sight. Even a Chef de Cuisine Diplome cannot do so. Because baking is an exact Science, bakers or cooks rely on measuring cups, measuring spoons and other tools to make the ingredients exactly as the recipes would state. I love that she uses her collection of Antique Cookie Molds are more like museum pieces.
Nothing beats the aroma of food cooked in Charcoal. They've only improvised on the oven to cook Bibingkoy. I am so amazed! That's like a Filipino version of the Dutch Oven.
Ung mga tao noon khit hindi tapos ng college magaling sa math kahit walang calculator kayang mag compute. I salute you nanay ika and your daughter aling lolit, please continue the legacy of bibingkoy.

I am very impressed with the cinematography! not to belittle our local documentary filmaker, but this is like i am watching a National Geography-like documentary! the treatment of each frames tell something and invite you to be part of it! Kudos to the team who made this, and please do more film like this! Keep it up!

Sa ganito talaga ako humahanga dahil kahit di nakatapos basta marunong dumiskarte ay umaasenso gaya ng tiyahin ko na di nakatapos kahit elementarya pero may malaking bahay at malakang na lupain ngayon dahil lang sa pagbebenta benta ng kung ano anong gulay prutas at mga baboy samantalang ang mga nasa opisina ang ilan up to now wala pang bahay..
