PMV-Snow Miser/Heat Miser

- Here's an early Hearth's Warming present. I don't know how many of you saw the 70's Christmas special "The Year Without a Santa Claus," but in it Mrs. Claus visits the Miser Brothers, Snow Miser and Heat Miser who are in charge of the world's ice and heat respectively. Their rivalry made me think of Luna and Celestia (and now we have clips of Luna with snow). Honestly, the Heat Miser part was harder because Celestia's not really as wacky as Luna. I had the CMC backing Luna up because I consider them Luna's crew. And who else other than the Mane 6 hangs out more with Celestia?

The lip sync was PERFECT. And the way they moved with the song's tone was so spot on. This both made me laugh AND made my day.
I'd be lying if I said that this wasn't my favorite part of the entire special.

Heat miser: well it's unfair that what. Why can't he just take a break at the beach or drive a sand buggy. & enjoy heat and rain.
Miss C: well I'll see what I can do. In the meantime could you do us a little favor?
Heat miser: I don't see why I should no one else does anything for me...........what is it.
Miss C (takes a breath): could you let it snow just for one day in the south.
Heat miser: WHAT!?!?!?! SNOW IN THE SOUTH!?!?!?!?!?!
Miss C: just for one day
Heat miser: NEVER!!!!!! Um unless....a bit of "northern territory" was turned over to me shall we say the North Pole
Miss C: good heavens I don't know that's up to your brother not me.
Heat miser: well let's give that snow cones a buzz on the hot line see what he said.
Miss C on the phone: snowy this is miss clause.
Snow miser: hi there sugar plum how did you deal with the hot head???
Heat miser: I HEARD THAT you snowball
Snow miser: oh my goodness speak of the devil
Heat miser: miss kindly state your business with him and get him out of here!!!!!
Snow miser: watch your blood pressure hot cakes mother warned you about that boiling point of yours.
HM: you just think you're hot stuff because mother likes you best.
Miss C: boys boys please don't fight.
SM: well if I can't have a little fun then I'll leave.
Miss c: your brother said you could let it snow in the south. But there has to be a condition on your part.
SM: oh really want dose the flaming fool want this time the North Pole.
Miss C: why yes as a matter of fact.
SM: WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?
HM: I told you he won't cooperate
SM: COOPERATE SURRENDER THE NORTH POLE YOU CALL COOPERATE!?!?!?!?!? I'm going to chill your embers for you.
HM: oh yeah???
Miss C: alright enough of this I hate to do this to you boys but you leave me no choice.......I'm going on over your heads.
SM: your kidding?!?!?!
HM: you wouldn't dare!?!?!?
Miss C: I would and I will.
HM: see what you did you old blizzard SHES GOING TO TELL MOTHER!!!!!
SM: What I did its your fault!!!!
WOW! I actually grew up owning "The Year Without a Santa Claus" on VHS! It's actually my mom's favorite Rankin/Bass Christmas Special due to the Miser Brothers. And I can't blame her. They steal the whole show with their rivalry and song(s).
I think Luna is perfect for snow miser, but I do think that discord would be a better heat miser. He just fits the personality better. I see why you did put celestia there though, because she's Luna's sister and she controls the sun. Aside from that, 10/10 on the pmv.
I did consider Discord as the Heat Miser, but I didn't want to lose the sister/brother analogy. Actually, I think someone already did a PMV of Discord in that role.

Besides, Snow and Heat miser Are brothers and Luna and Tia are sisters... so..

"Year Without a Santa Claus" is one of my mom's favorite Christmas specials. She does hate how parts have been cut so the networks can fit in more commercials.

Perfect! I love Luna and Snow Miser! 0:25's my fav part! :) Though, I think their personalities actually fit more the other way, but the powers and theme fit more with the ones you chose. Nice PMV. Have you seen the sorta sequel to this. They made a bit of a duet with snow and heat and even introduce another miser. I can't remember the name but I would love to see that pmv someday. Wasn't crazy about Lulu at first but the CMC did make her better ^-^
