Very helpful video, thanks a million!
To any one with a 2014 si coupe , the bolts on the bottom are 8mm. You're welcome.
Can Honda make upgrading your radio any MORE complicated?
I had a question and wondering if you have any videos showing how to remove and replace the lens that covers that top instrument cluster
what size of a socket do you need for the bolts? Mine are super tight and all I'm doing is shredding it slowly
Nice video do they make a after market stereo that works with the screen & steering wheel controls? I have a 14 Civic LX & factory stereo displays on the cluster & just the controls are on the center part (volume, tuning etc.). Also in case they don't I want to add SiriusXM but not use them plug & play units as there is no bluetooth on them & not want the wire mess from it as you cant hide the power & the aux jack is in the front. The factory radio does not have that built in.
nice video been waiting for someone to post that. cant wait until a harness comes out for honda lanewatch so I can swap my radio to aftermarket.
Mel L did you get it yet?
Was u able to pull ac vents out without removing dash? I was able to on the passenger side vents but was wondering if the driver side and middle vent will come out without removing dash
When you pulled the deck out did it have RCA's on the back?
Do you know which wires go to the back up camera on the navigation screen?
do you know if this whole head unit would fit on a 2012 civic?
Where can i buy a navigation system for a basic 2015 honda civic or can i use a 2012-2014 one?
Could you teach me how to remove front dash panel? I have some humidity Inside of the transparent covers and i would líke to clean it
Can you guys make a video installing aftermarket radio like pioneer nex8100 on this civic...
do the stereos have RCA in the back
please do a full dash teardown of 2017 honda CRV
My (european) honda civic touring 2014 looks nothing like that, i was hoping that it would :) Oh well i'll keep on searching for that then.
How do you replace the power outlets? Thanks
Does this fit on 2013 civic ?hope u answer 😢
Just wondering where is the ground/earth located for Civic 2015 (9th gen) ?
Any idea
Do you have videos showing how to remove and replace Accessory Power socket (Front) for 2014 Honda Civic Ex.
I NEED THE SAME EXAXT SHIT
Have you found anything ???
what is power harness looking like?
can I put a '16 radio in there for Google car play and apple cart play?
Yes, you can put whatever you want in there.
very nice . is that the only way to swap the mileage / clock / outside temp gauge ?
TKX..
Hey, what size are those 2 bolts that you removed under the radio? 10MM?
Did you ever find out? This guy sucks at explaining the important parts
@@melissag7780 yep! They’re 10mm, you just need an extended socket to reach it. Then you can loosen it by hand
Senat Abazi also do you know if it has a rca input to it
@@melissag7780 it does not. I think if you buy an after market radio they have that input
I took mines to a shop to install a after market radio. My Camera's don't work.No Subwoofer. My time doesn't sync. USB port 2 doesn't work etc. The shop put in the axxis and HDCC-02 already. So far the transition is terrible. My hazard lights activate my camera's and it doesn't feel like much of a upgrade after buying a after market radio. Pioneer Avic-w8500nex to a Civic si 2014
If anyone without navigation ever wants to upgrade to aftermarket navigation make sure to purchase the SCOSCHE double din kit, do not get METRA!!!they won't fit properly.
The video stopped before the radio was removed. I don't understand why you had to take apart the whole gauge cluster when you had the radio free earlier in the video.
This same vehicle. What else needs to be done to remove and replace the climate control head unit?
Could someone direct me to a video that's just like this, but not shot with the camera facing direct sunlight so I can SEE WHAT THE FUCK THEY ARE DOING!?!?!
yeah.. not the same at all for a 2015.. thanks for advertising what you aren't doing.
danny z hmm. Identical to my 2015 Si.
danny z works the same for my 2015 lx
Danny z is a little bitch
Didnt even take the radio out
haphazard video - no sequence and the guy removing the radio seems to be fumbling with things as if he is not sure about it at all.
