The Palace of Auburn Hills and the United Center were both forerunners to the modern arena movement. Although this is very nice, it is purely new and modern, not innovative.
@@805fillmore now that I think about it, yep...especially if you look at the latest rendition. I think, though, the Palace was the first arena to have suites within the seating areas. In all other arenas I have seen, the suites were: a) between levels, b) above levels, or c) at the top of different levels.
why not add cheap nosebleed seats at the top? the owners/gm don't realize that the Warriors will not be as prominent as the last 3 seasons so that corporate money wont' be as profitable.
Not bad but could be bigger and with good parking and business retail and services and places to go around the area and for both half for UCSF area and Chase Arena to and S.F. live of entertainment complex and movie and much to show and offer than just arena! Not bad still inside until the whole surrounding area is fix and polish inside out of the place. Be nice if they give it some time and put it down where the 49ers used to play if they could change and fix that whole area up and parking to as well.
even tho i'm not a warriors fan, i'm gonna miss oracle. i feel that oakland needed the team more than SF, but the oracle was old and it was better economically for the team but also esp if ur from south bay it's a longer drive and idt bart goes there rip

Meh. Layout is similar to Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. Same with the suites, VIP club and local food vendor theme (all G1C local food vendors are farm-to-fork.) Can food be ordered and delivered to your seat using an app like G1C? The scoreboard is distracting. Does it have a sensory room too? The only differences is that G1C has upper level retractable windows in the mezzanine area and no parking drama. And of course tickets are cheaper...
Great they have a new home but they will make it too the playoffs if they get 6,7 or the 8 seed but no championship for a long time I’m not no hater but it’s over for them
New arena economics = upsale tickets first couple yrs until the new car smell wheres off Detroit did it when LCA opened tickets were expensive and neither team occupying it
Which is cool meaning they don't have to take orders from the arena owner like other nba teams because the Warriors own the arena plus other nba teams arena are owned by big corporations while chase center is owned by the Warriors
*Chase center don't seem like it's going to be for the average Joe lol*
Nope
trust me it is. it's so freakin corporate
Great so the real Warrior fans won’t be able to go now👎 😥
Yo there won't be much going on there no more chill
tell the warriors to change their name, because the picture has no warrior on it
Stay home watch it on tv
@Jacob Nicolo Gabriel Dolen Ordo╤ez idiot it's the bay bridge
Jacob Nicolo Gabriel Dolen Ordo╤ez it was the Same logo in Oakland

The next stadium will have a skybox underneath the court for a cool 1 million dollars glass see through floor.
Tuxedo Mechanic 😅😅😅
And women wearing dresses sitting court side? And the after game interviews with female reporters on the court. Yeah
Everyone talking about how the tickets prices are too expensive but best believe the arena will be sold out every single home games
Nothing screams rich like this place. I can picture snooty rich people all over the place in that building!
Not all rich people are snooty. That's quite judgemental.
Some are snooty, like anybody, but many aren't. Many rich people that I know earned it all through their hard work and creative entrepreneurial spirit and are warm generous people.
The scoreboard won’t matter, everyone there will be staring into their phones to tell everyone that isn’t there that they are. What game?
It looks like their old arena
jose martinez not at all this one looks more new and its all white
Beautiful Arena. It look way better than Little Caesars arena in Detroit
i had a feeling gs will never win a championship again in then next 20yrs in this building
Should have done this 4-5 yrs ago when the team was hot. They can charge any money they want. Now lots of bandwagon will jump off
@Beatsro 23 Im loyal I moved from cali like last yr 😭😭😭😭😭 still supporting warriors

Actually Madison Square garden is. Thats what those 2 and staples center were inspired by.

Did the palace get demolished or is it still standing?
It is slated to be demolished in the next year; the structure is still standing. I drove by it this past Wednesday, August 28.
Pistons made it easier for detroiters to go to games but they still dont go, parking $20-50, $10 beer, etc LCA is nice if you not in the noosebleeds
Beautiful arena
A cute Arena for the rich. But NO affordable housing for the City.....cute indeed.
Sad for sure smh
When Balmer builds his arena for his Clippers next to LA Rams stadium this is going to look cheap
Why would people in general build a new arena that’s smaller, like Ik it’s by only a thousand compared to oracle but still..
Supply and demand. Less supply means more demand which means the Warriors can charge more money and make more money.

They should have demolished the old cow palace so they could call it "The Cow Palace by Chase."
No mo' college free throw lane, mate! YEE-HAW!
Oakland native here and won't pay a dime to see the warriors..
Golden gate bridge represents the team am i right

but HOMELESS people with feces and needles outside. hahahahah

F*CK em!...jus step over them....it's the 🇺🇸 American way.
This new center could be the end of the Warriors dynasty since KD is no longer there and Clay is on the injured list.
Not sure what to make of his "METALLICA" reference.
