Love to see you doing everything we did a year ago 😍
Also would love to see you interview your mum and husband and find out their thoughts about moving and living in Gana.
I love these weekly vlogs 😍
Please do a video on universities in Ghana and what they can do to attract students from the Caribbean to attend them.
You really enjoying my country😂😂😂
Shut up.
😆🤣😂
It's her country too.
No it’s not she’s an immigrant in Ghana
Omanuwa Iris Kwasia.
Vanessa you are a gorgeous hardworking girl.
Always smiley as usual😁 You look sooo good Vanessa. You're happiness is truly clear to see. Really excited for you and your family and to follow this fabulous journey, quality & pace of life🏴🇬🇭🙂
You should find fire alarms and smoke detectors at UCT along the Spintex road, just after Palace.
This is Africa. We chill..... no hurry.
I am watching this video right now-actually from Accra. 🤩🇬🇭
Feels so weird. We’re actually closer to you now than we were before, although we both lived in Europe before ;-)
So excited about your weekly vlogs!😍
Selling smoke alarms may be a great business opportunity.
These alarms are rather common in Ghana if you know where to look.
most companies have it though and hotels
Exactly melcom, game there is a whole area in Accra central called opera square every single electrical product can be found there from most countries . From building houses to retail products. You have to think like a local person as if you were in any foreign country
So good to see you and kids smiling and enjoying Ghana and I promise you the kids will never forget this experience. Cheers you and husby as we say for your sacrifice and dedication so make it count. I also heard that the lifestyle of some of these millennials in Ghana is insane and rivals what we have here in America and I'll love to see you do a series on that if possible, exotic cars and houses and boats. Chaio
I just like her personality industrious women
I think Ghanaians do not use the term smoke alarm. It's either fire 🔥 alarm detector
The African Sun has served you well Queen. You're looking like a GOLDEN GODDESS. Your family is truly blessed. You are now my virtual tour guide. Thank you! 🇬🇭 🙌🏿
I am loving your "Living In" weekly series, it really give us who are interested in making the move some honest foreshadowing. Also, please do not let negative comments bring you down at all. You are one of the biggest UA-camrs in Ghana, on Ghana, about Ghana with thousands of viewers...an idiot is inevitable...ignore it as it is just a result of your celebrity. Keep killin' it!!!
Good job Vanessa 👍🏿 keep on going higher 🇬🇭🌍
Vanessa you are living your best life with your family Congratulations hope you continue to grow and strive
Always watching your videos.. It's so cool to see how you are doing your thing, because We are coming to Accra in May and wanna by land cause we want to relocate in Ghana. So exciting 😁
I'm also relocating to Ghana this year. I currently live in the UK.
@@sharonakumiah2863 so cool... so many ppl going back... I love this... Which region in ghana u wanna go?
And we are moving from Germany... In May we gonna buy land ... Come back to Germany and get everything ready to relocate... Can't wait for it 😁
@@amandaserene2709 I'll be living in Accra but would love to live in the Volta Region. My husband is from the Volta Region so would love to buy land there
@@sharonakumiah2863 I heard about the Volta region ... Must be nice there... We will see where we gonna end up buying land.... Next week Friday is our flight😁✈️
For fire alarms, in Southern Africa at least, are purchased from suppliers or stores that specialize also in home protection (like electric gates, fences, burglar alarm). Try asking for a similar shop in Ghana maybe.
Hope you find a smoke alarm. Maybe you can open a business and ship them to Ghana and sell them 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
It really helps to see it all in person, thanks for sharing your journey with us x
Find a tailor and buy the fabric to sew for you. It is way cheaper than buying at the mall.
Please upload a video elaborating on the school system and Home Security.
Wow, very impressive. Bold move, but in life you have to follow your guts. Wishing you and your family well, and see you on the next video.
if Ghana have fire station smoke alarm will be in Ghana
Ms V! Keep on rocking..Please, also patronize local seamstresses and share your experience. Would luv to read about your experience with securing drivers license. The smoke alarm has been a concern (my sisters relocated) and I will be sending them battery operated detectors (including carbon monoxide) from US .
local seemstresses, theres only one thing about to keep in mind. the really good ones that are reffered a lot are so stressed that youll wait weeks(months) for your piece you wanted to be sewn. happened to my wife more than once. Now the other ones,.....
Vanessa. Why are you in the direct sunshine. Lol. Love your videos. I'm living vicariously through you. Keep them coming
Try to find an ethical bank. It's no big deal but makes the world a better place for the kids hopefully.
I love these vlogs. Vanessa looks so happy!
Vanessa, my name is Vivianne and I am from CANADA 🇨🇦. I ADMIRE YOU AND ❤ LOVE YOUR CHANNEL.
You guys really give as hope.I respect all of you Vanessa and acheampong family.
We love see you all.
Your such a beautiful soul.keep being you
Congratulations on your family move, keep going don’t stop, I’m learning every step of the way! I will be there on my journey soon! Buying my land in Takoradi beach❤️🙏🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🇬🇭✊🏽✊🏽🌹🔥😍🎉
Which country you from?
Does Ghana have hardware stores like Home Depot, Lowe’s, or Ace Hardware? Maybe you could find it there. Here in the U.S., we wouldn’t go to a shopping mall for smoke alarms,
fire/carbon monoxide detectors.
Ghana to the world.
You may have to go to a hardware/building supply store...if not maybe order them online as a last resort 🧯
YOUR LIVINGG YOURBEST LIFE!! CONGRATS!! WAY TO GO AFTER IT!! DREAMS DO COME TRUE IF YOU BELIEVE!!
My best UA-cam😍
Very good point about fire alarms, I'm going to bring some with me when I move over.
Welcome to your real home,Africa,Africa,Africa
That smoke alarm and fire accessories sounds like a good business venture for your husband 🤔
You might find smoke alarms along the spintex road where all the home goods and construction stores are
If you want fire detectors you can get them from Jumia Ghana online although they are shipped from “abroad”
I cant wait for more content from the BEST. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
4:58 but Europe is like that too isn't?? Spain has siesta during the day, Italy, the south of France?? I deciced to subscribe, you made the adventure seem so fun?! ...Which bank in the UK opens at 08;00?? Those £20 sandals were expensive??!! Thats a company setup right there for your husband 9:30 to start promoting??!!
you go girl. its an adventure everyday
Congrats on your family move. Glad to see you're resting today. Don't forget to do that regularly.
Nice
Thank you! These videos are helpful. I appreciate you!
You look so natural happy, good choice go to Ghana, hope you can manege it financially, I am looking for more subscribers for you.✌️
Ghanaians don't really use smoke alarms or carbon monoxide detectors which is a problem..It is possible to buy them but they are extremely rare.... I'd advice buying them and having them sent to you because those in Ghana could be coming from china and quality can't be assured.
Love your videos 🔥
Coffee is sooo nice. There's so many different types. Unless there's a particular reason u don't drink it, u should defo try it 😊
MTN is good for the internet but they charge too much for momo transactions however, Vodafone doesn't charge much, infact zero cost for certain transactions, so I will recommend you do vodafone mobile money
Smoke alarms, we noticed it was an issue in Ghana-couldn’t find them. Eventually, bought in the UK and sent it over.
Nice one! All the best enjoy your life
Pancakes & a juice @ A&C that was my morning routine 😋
Great video content concept. Kudos. Also great perfume taste with Creed. Keep it up.
Thanks lady
Thanks watching from London
@@eleanorntiamoah3835 If you want smoke alarm the best people to talk to is the Fire service they will give you the best advice and where to go to get it
@@eleanorntiamoah3835 👏
Big up 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
Wish u all the best 👍
The hunt for smoke detectors, any good electrical shops selling light fittings etc should sell them. Hopefully you might find hem, but maybe in a foreign established shop or they may not sell them because it does not sell as people don't have to install smoke detectors/heat detectors in their homes in Ghana
Beautiful family..I am inspired by you. 💕💕💕Definitely will visit Africa next year when Vovid19 is gone.
I enjoy this process so so much 🥰
Great video! I love seeing you enjoy your move to Ghana. You look SO relaxed! How did you find your swim teacher? My kids take lessons here in the US and would love for them to continue when in Ghana 🇬🇭.
Nice
Look for a security shops.
What will your husband do in Ghana?
Agreed, smoke alarms are a necessity!!
My 🇬🇭🇬🇭
Put up a fire /smoke alarm business u will make a fortune, as Ghana is developing so fast.
I miss the Jollof rice. But I was very nervous about the Malaria factor. Are you, and how do you deal with it? I would love to come back and be relaxed.
Just here wondering... What's with this thumbnail, Vanessa.. Scared me a little bit or was this just me 🙊😅😅
I was too 😊
@@agyemandennis5655whew! looks like I wasn't alone! Good to know 😁
A kiss from the sun
Girl my bank open physically at 9am.
Thanks dear
Great informative videos, as usual. But please stop whining when you need to plan better. It's just bizarre to get to offices/supermarkets early and complain that they are not open before 9am. Is it not the same in the UK that offices/supermarkets open from 9am? Please just enjoy the blessings of Ghana with all its imperfections!
I live in Las Vegas, Nevada in the U.S, most stores and offices don’t open till 9. Though sometimes I wished they opened earlier, because I’m a morning person, but it is what it is
Is there Amazon in Gana yet LOL maybe you should just get a friend to post you a few over it shouldn’t take that long to get there I’ve sent packages in the post from the UK that only take a week with DHL or FedEx or even at Royal mail.. I don’t know if you’ve done a video on this before Vanessa but what is the banking situation I know there is Barclays in Accra and it is pretty seamless to use your UK Barclays account in Accra. I think even NatWest and Monzo bank is everywhere in Accra now isn’t it.
Who else saw Joe Hotagua's ad on this video
Hey Mrs.Vanessa 😊

How difficult is it to move there with dogs?
Need time wear your sunscreen Vanessa
Vanessa, how is the COVID situation in Ghana? I am looking to come to Accra over the summer but I want to be cautious. Can anyone provide me some advice? xoxo
No where near as bad as Europe and Africa, Google it

Would luv to see u and your family socialize and mingle with your neighbors and local Ghanaians. Otherwise it seems you're just a tourist.

Throughout this video it was just yourself in the shots, what's that about?
why are you getting a ghanaian drivers license? we have friends at the right place and i could have gotten one since 2011 and said no. Our friend asked why? I knew about that freakin renewal stickers on the back and said Ill forget that anyway ane i dont like that ghana police bs.
She laughed a lot. You know you have to renew your license while valid every two years...... non ghanaian Intl license is way more uncomplicated....
You have to register your international license with them anyway otherwise you get a fine so it’s actually less hassle getting a Ghanaian license especially for the police checks.
@@VanessaKanbi you dont need to register it if youre not staying more than half a year or non resident. And that one checkpoint leaving tml airport just before savelugu. They dont even open that booklet once they see the grey intl. license. In a few hundred checks i never had issues with my intl one. in fact the traffic ones north of tml are either drive on or chatting small where im from, if im am ngo or one of the contractors.... thats because of the pickup. The bad or incompetent ecperiences I rather had down south. you might need it at a point. Get a contact at p.i.p.s. thats like internal affairs for gh police and they dont like it if you know about it.
Please try and say our son and our daughter not my like your Single parent
