I just want to say: I love the sound of a flame pot hitting a giant crowd of attackers during a siege... its just so satisfying to hear this and see a kill count a mile long

Imagine this: You are a Vlandian footman, charging into battle along with your calvalry. your commander tells you they are facing an army of 30 men. Cut to 25 minutes later, your entire 630 men army had been completely wiped out with 0 losses on the enemy side, and you are now fleeing with a horde of Godly calvalry chasing after you and the rest of the survivors.
Thanks for the shear determination to put in the hours to show us this.

I started a clan only campaign after your last video. It’s been some of the most fun I’ve had in 1700 hours. I’m up to 41 party members. Siege defence is the most fun. Thanks for sharing this great way to play.

As a note for maximising family size, the roll for a baby boy or girl is done the day before it's born iirc. So you can re-load that day until its a boy (or twins) and then get a wife from marriage. It'd be interesting to see how many family members people can get.

I just recently got back into playing Bannerlord and I love the Mount and Blade games. There is a perk, think in athletics, that decreases fall damage by 50%

Now all we need is a patch that puts more well equipped heros on the other side once yours are well equipped. It's awesome how you can add what ever setup you want on these!

Had already done this type of campaign, but last video made me want to give it another go. Currently at the stage where the first few children have grown up and the party can go against 150 enemies without my help. They grow so fast...
Biggest challenge is finding cool names for all of them.
The only name i changed was my grandson's name to Slater. I was planning to play as him when my main character died, but it didn't happen. Shame really, would make for better content.

@@mrbones7477 have you played it on console? I played OG mount and blade on console and it was pretty rough navigating everything
@tacky design it works really well on console. Navigation and commanding troops is quite intuitive.

@@tackydesign6064 I don't know about old gen sadly. Probably 30fps with max 500 troops. On current gen you can have 1000 troops at 30fps and 500 at 60fps.
In the video you mention some of your companions and family members died of old age. How did you prevent your own PC from also dying from old age?

No judge I use cheat mod I find the exp gain is too slow so have it at 1.5 and minor tweaks

Question: With Patch 1.10 - i Startet a new Campaign and there is now an new Option/Checkbox "Death an Birth" - which I can not switch after Start.
I'm 10 Ingame Years long an see some Wanderers died.
Will my Party Companions also die?
I disable Death für all Heros - but is is for my Wanderers too?
Yes they will die, but usually after they hit 60 years old as there is a bigger chance they will die. I think each hero can die of old age when they hit 50 (not sure the specific age), and the probability they will die of old age increases the more they age. So it's very unlikely they will die at 50-59 years old, but once they are all over 60, expect many of them to drop. Of course there are instances where some can live to an absurdly long time, like a 100 years.
Personal opinion…. You should have went javalins. Nothing more satisfying than 20-30 party members with 250 throwing just mowing down lines.

I’ve been watching countless UA-camrs playing this game since before it came out on console and I love the game. But I always get stuck in mid/late game. I start my own empire and have no clue where to go from there. I’ve maxed out necessary skills for myself as well as companions, started having kids, developing my town. But I have no clue what to do following all that. Do you have any tips?? It would be much appreciated. And I love your videos. It’s very humorous to see you do the put thing. I try to do it as much as I can defending my towns/castles.
When creating a kingdom you need a lot of gold to pay off some kingdoms that declare war on you. Then you need gold to bribe clans into defecting from their kingdom to joining yours. Most clans won't even consider it, but clans without any fiefs will almost always consider it. The amount you pay is based on a few things, but I think it's mostly based on your clan relations, and their kingdom strength (and if they have 0 fiefs).
This is King Arthur but got better friends to solve his problems
Hmmm, I've never done a companion run in Bannerlord. It was my go to in Warband, but it was janky as hell, this seems to work a bit better

Hi, although it's over a year, is there someone that knows why every Lords, even when greatly outnumbering me, retreat after a few waves (even less) when I'm in a defensive siege? I always fight outnumbered, as to strategize more and having a more rewarding experience, so I'm usually on 1:2/1:3 minimum. In SDs, that scale is even higher at times. However, after killing/knocking down 100 like soldiers, out of about 1500/2000+, the enemy and their leaders just surrender, as if completely defeated. It happens quicker when i destroy all of their siege machines during the battle, or after a few repulsed waves anyway. It's taking away the fun out of a prolonged defensive fight that should last quite a while, and making me take tactical decisions over time as my troops gets more and more damaged/ exhausted, for a quick skirmish as if i was just training against looters. I noticed it started to happen frequently after the last update, but I'm not completely sure it's because of something directly related to it.

Context: haven’t played M&B warband in a few years. Seen bannerlord on game pass and said “f##k it”

-gets captured
-restarts new character
-dies in battle
-restarts again
-manages to accumulate small fortune and fiefs
-gets captured while siegeing
-restarts again
-current campaign
-decided to make a kingdom after many hours of game time and commitment.
-declares war on vlandia because they are already warring LITERALLY EVERYONE else
-aserai declare war
-calm
-sturgia declares war
-some panic
-battania declares war
-absolute panic
-believe me when I say I tried to fight them off
-but I only had me and my family as fighters.
-decided that I would be better off abdicating leader and just destroying the kingdom
-massive debt, crippled numbers, fiefs gone, and I lost all the prosperity my towns had smh.
10/10 would do it all again tho. I had almost all of vlandia gone because of rebellions and I lost it all because of my greed.
FYI: I’m still playing on that character because she is my favourite so far, good family, nice set-up and all I need now is more man power so let the breeding commence.
