Love seeing his problem solving when talking such a ridiculous name. I especially thought the lasso work was fresh. Any chance you could breakdown his work flow, do a piece with it, and show us the system? Could be another series entirely.

I love consumer's Channel, it's a shame he hasn't uploaded a video in years... I wonder what he's doing these days...
Needless to say, I learned a lot about logo design from his content.
I tend to work on the letter forms, branches, webbing, drips and then other cut outs, etc. I do it all on one layer, but I duplicate and hide the layer between steps so I have a backup of each phase if anything goes seriously wrong.
I've only been turned on to their stuff recently while starting to take my channel seriously, and oh baby the 3 or 4 videos I've seen this last week have been crazy good - that's a shame they haven't uploaded in the last while!
That's mad mate, but proof that there's no right or wrong way to do it - just whatever works for us personally is the way to go! I basically do everything on separate layers, be it lettering, texturing, detailing etc etc and only merge them when I go for a liquify, warp or filter gallery pass. Any time I merge layers I'll leave a hidden group of them below the merged version and have multiple psd's saved for the different stages of the process. Super cool seeing people's workflow and getting new ideas 🤝🤝🤝
I'm busy as always. I have a dozen or so videos I haven't put out yet because I've been focusing more on NFT stuff these days, but I'm trying to find the time to get the channel updated here soon.
this is very similar to how i work logos but i do it all with procreate and affinity
I must give affinity more of a look boss, heard good things and it's pure cheap 🙏🙏
@@SpearheadMedia i love it myself, i went with it strictly because i dont like the subscription model adobe has, it really puts me off when i see no option to own the software.
That's totally fair mate, I would not be able to justify the monthly subscription for just one programme! It's pretty damn expensive especially on top of all the stock sources I used etc. However with illustrator, InDesign, after effects, premiere and more that I use on the daily, I sort of think the price is worth it now. However I'd much prefer to outright buy the programmes themselves!
Is there any chance you could a tutorial on the drips?
