  • Place your hands on the floor, slightly wider than shoulder width apart, inline with your chest. With straight arms, position your body in a plank like position, with your toes on the floor and your legs hip width apart. Brace your core and bend your elbows down until your upper arms are parallel to the floor or below.
    As you push yourself up, rotate your body to one side and extend your upper arm up above your body. Lower your raised arm back down into a push-up position and as you come back up, rotate your body to the opposite direction. Repeat by alternating each side.
