    These days minivans and suvs in the States come with 300hp so 300hp isn’t what it used to be. New corvettes are dropping 11s from the factory so 500hp is more of a norm these days here but most people can’t use it safely.

      Power vs weight is key. 300hp in a 4000 lb suv isn't really fast, same 300 in a 2800 lbs car is pretty quick.
      You are right, hence why you see so many crashing

    I dont live on an airstrip, so i agree, high hp road builds for me are fairly pointless other than for bragging rights. Here in the real world witht traffic, speed cameras etc for me having a car that i cant fully wring out to the redline is mostly frustrating. Even with your number you would reach license losing territory in no time. Maybe high hp is useful if you would want to do silly speeds on the motorway, but thats not any fun anyway. A timeattack build with aero etc is of course a very different world, or straight line racing etc.
