God bless you to man . i am snowed in stuck like chuck as they say lol. yea my 260k miles on my is300 2jz alternator was acting up so i installed brushes and cleaned and packed bearing yea the old ones lol 10 dollar rebuild been working great for 3500k so far .i hate buying alts
I have not completely decided as yet. I am thinking of blocking it off and just doing a 36-1 crank trigger. On the other hand it would be nice to get it working on the factory distributor to make it relatable to others before switching to coil on plug.
@@DCWERX I will watch your 2JZ updates and hire you to do mine. I’ll try to do it the way you are doing it to make tuning easier. I currently have a auto non vvt 2JZ with a single turbo going megasquirt still has distributor but thinking abt fabbing up a crank sensor bracket. Not sure if megasquirt will work with a340 auto, though may have to get a 5 spd or see how you do your build!
i assume your going to use the 2jz the old big rods and not the vvti tiny ones like my 2005 lexus has in it i know they can take boost but no not me ill change them but still ant built shop i hope to spring as i paid off a few things and may be able unless the crash comes wef instigated stuff you know but ill say no more

That l200 would be awesome with a more modern FI 4g64/4g63 setup. Wish they brought more to the states.
I believe a small number of them came efi down here

I got a non vvti big rod motor to start off with luckily. I do want a vvti head down the road however. Is your 2jzge boosted now?
